so in order for me to get notice or alert for currency basket movement or should i say currency index big moves (i.e yen, euro or aud moves).. do i need to install EA basket writer v.3 or i just need install indicator cssdiff_g and cssdiff_mod? i've never used EA.. and i guess this isn't a pasif EA hich is only give us some alerts..?? or am i wrong?
i already got currency meter stregth.. so if i got alert from some indicator about some moves.. then i can go quickly look to CSM and see each currency strength..

Basket trading is one of my favorite trading styles. The possibilities are endless. With a basket you reduce your risk without blowing the account and you can even combine that with other baskets and close them all when there is an overrall profit.

Too bad there are no robots yet for such trading strategy, maybe in the future.

i tried basvet writer v2 and got the same initialization error...can't figure out what the issue is...all eas and indicators are in the correct folders.

Same for me, I´m sticking to Basket Writer V1 for the moment being.
V2 stays blank on my screen, without errors

here are my 2cent thinking...

What I can see in this method of trading ie automated basket trading, we have 3 Major Components. These Major Components are as follows:

1. The Basket
2. The Timing
3. The State-of-the-Art Basket Trading EA.

As you can see in this thread, to move the above major components to its best is to fulfill the requirements. Due to my understanding of fulfillment, we have to use as many sub components as possible until we are able to find and create :

1. The Best Basket - 2-14 currency pairs basket, spread...
2. The Best Timing - Trend, Time Frame etc..
3. The Best Setup of Basket Trading EA which related to no1. & no.2.

It is quite an effort, sacrifice, time consuming, ideas, testings and mistakes have been taken by many members and generous contributors of this thread to achieve d'Best Basket Trading Automation System for traders to make a decent living of their own.

Pls don't hesitate to take your time and patience to read thru all the post (post #1 is compulsory) that might overcome your doubt and perception to how to assist you in understanding the methodology and objective(s) to fulfill your needs and goals.

I wish you happy trading and huge success in your near future.

I just loaded up the v3 basket writer, working like a champ, no errors!!! Excellent tool, thank you Seller.
i loaded the V3 basket writer and i had this first attachment error. then i downloaded another broker's platform and it worked like magic a in the second attachment. I am not a programmer but the only two differences between the two platforms is:
1. the broker that gives the error uses a suffix.
2. the broker that gives the error doesn't have EURNZD as a trading instrument.
as i said, i am not a programmer, i hope this helped.
looking back to it, its a charm... thanks alot seller9 for the tremendous effort you are making here.

Maybe you need to fix the settings in your computer.
Go to this link and do what they say, doing this will probably fix your problem

The simple way is to Right click on the desktop icon for the mt4,properities,compability, run windows in capability mode for Xp service pack 3, and in= Privilege level, click on Run as administrator, then apply, close and restart, do this for all you mt4's.

thanks for the advise....i have tried it but i still get the initializaton error, nonetheless, really appreciate your help.

the weird thing is i have no problems running all the other basket eas only the basket writer has an initialization error.
anybody long on 14pairs or core5 pairs. actually i locked some profit by now.
this BTs were open last Friday.

Thanks for the heads up Seller9.

Running it on a 1 hour chart gave me an init error, but after restarting my MT4 and running it on a 15 minute chart it works like a champ !!!

Manual trade closure via dynamic adjustment of TP line according to price action.
Comments: Profit target achieved.

Nice one Eagle85, when I see this I´m really torn between MTF4hrs+ and the lower time frames.

I have been constantly watching the C5 basket today, but ranging again...

Basket_Writer_v3 requires 28 pairs to function.

If you don't have 28 pairs use version 1 or find a Broker with 28 pairs.
