DislikedHi Seller 9, maybe I am No. 179 to congratulate you for this excellent EA, but I never saw -being trading for more than 15 years now- such a wonderful EA you created and shared.Hi All, as suggested I studied through the whole thread and watched almost all of the videos (some of the newer ones still remaining). As I know that learning by doing is the best method, I began to create a new offline chart using a "MIX3"-chart. As can be seen in the screen I wanted the EA to enter a trade immediately (Entry0=true--- all others =false). Furthermore...

Disliked{quote} Hi, You set the Entry 0 to true but you did not configured when to enter into the trade. With your current settings, just set the "Use ixo2 direction to true" in Entry 0 settings and you are good to go, the EA will open a short position on your basket.Ignored

Disliked{quote} I think this is an excellent idea and tried to do this "automatically" using the BO/PO feature. I dragged the "buy PO line" all the way to the bottom of the ranging and the "sell PO line" to the top (basically inverting them). The idea is when prices hit the high end, the basket goes short and when it hits the low of the ranging the basket goes long. Testing on my demo account did not work, when the price action line went up and hit (and even went 5 pips beyond), my basket was supposed to go short but it didnīt. I presume that the EA cannot...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Again me..... Accordingly to your hint I set up HAS X as entry condition ....no trades opened. Please help. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} You configured Has cross as an enter...but as you can see the momentum passed becouse you are on the third candle. the momentum was on the second candle. You have to wait until the next HAS direction change.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I configured HAS cross when HAS changed colour for the first time, but Candle had still not finished. Made screen later. Perhaps it`s too late change entries when signal candle began already? Thanks.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Shouldn't be the case...but test it on another chart as well. Another issue spoted on your char is the colour of the SPREAD...it's with red...until this will not change to a green colour it will not take any treads. But you can change the Max spread each pair with a bigger value if you want and then you will be able to take trades. You can define which spread are you willing to cover for each tread...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Seller, i will illustrate my proposition from here... http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...93#post7411393 ...with a screenshot. If anybody would find thius feature useful, let's ask Seller together {image} I sometimes find myself in this kind of situations, where i would like to trail a tight SL but can't do it because an initial pullback might take me out. Much appreciated.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I will look into it, right now I am working on a new Basket_Writer version 2 which looks good so far. After that I will look into some more tweaks for version 22. 1) Do you want no initial stop or do you want an initial wide stop and then when certain profit reached the new tighter TS takes over?Ignored

DislikedI noticed on my JPY7 trade yesterday that when it retraced and hit the TS the EA immediately placed another buy trade. This time it worked out because that trade is now in profit as well. however, most of the time when the SL/TS is hit you don't want to re enter in the direction of that closed trade. It just doesn't make sense and I've seen a lot of losses due to that. So to counter that, this morning on the USD4 chart I was in a buy in profit with TS and I opened the EA and changed GoLong to false and left GoShort =true. Sure enough, when the TS...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Which version are you using? I remember this issue, but i can tell you for sure, ver.20 doesn't do it. I have a lot of stuff running and can't report on an even single instance od this behaviour. If i remember correctly, the EA did so only when manual trade SL/TP was hit. Anyway, look in your ALERT window, EA says what is does and why there. Might be helpful.Ignored
