The concept remains the same, nothing is different. Same thing goes over and over again...

PA gives the way, TDI confirms it is the right way. It doesn't matter whether you do it on M15, H1 or W1. Personally, I liked LW's approach best, made it my job to study it in depth and trying to apply it with LW's help, occasionally.

Pip charmer Huge thanks for the charts! I still feel blind to bounce trades, do you look mainly at PA for those? I noticed TDI green and red often narrowing and a doji forming just before the bounce (either colour). Is that a hint of a bounce or am I missing something?

Exactly my thoughts. eelfranz traded H4 and H1 so it's hard to say what is "the true timeframe", there might be no need to change this thread into "H4 TMS".
Also, eelfranz developed TMS from (at least) 2 other systems (if I recall correctly) - if someone took the foundations he laid, but changed the core to suit their trading style and wants to share - start a new thread, go the same way eelfranz did with this one - FF is not a popularity contest

Give it a break It's hard not to write sometimes, but it's like a dodgy setup - ignore it as long as you can and if you can't any more analyse and share it like a pro. I fully agree with this what WDays said (highlighted above).
The other part on multi-timeframe analysis MFTA and its application is also another important aspect to successful TMS 5-Method a trend trading method. My favourite pic below to illustrate different trends exist inf different timeframes.

When the Price Action and the price momentum seen using the TDI are both in synergy, the trend breaks out. That is when I will apply my 'Let Profits Run' management.

good to see you back in this thread.
I did not ban GilR on personal reasons.
I acted accordingly to FF Code of Conduct.
When he was under tempoarary suspension, I refrain to say anything to response when other members post and commented on his suspension. Reason is becasue it would not be gentleman way to respond when GilR while under suspension could not respond in person. I think I acted in a fair manner.
Like I said before - Nobody was lying. Not GilR and also not me.
Be Patient. This matter will be sorted out in a few days.

I think most of the confusion comes from semantics. When people say price action, they immediately think candle patterns and support and resistance. I figure a good part of PA also comes down to knowing price structure, can't go short on H1 if H4 is a huge bull candle and vice versa. Even if simplicity is what we're all aiming for here, I don't believe you can trade without the most basic knowledge of what's actually going on. Bizzle may leave me standing corrected, and maybe I shouldn't be speaking for all of us... But my understanding of simplicity is not introducing moving average crosses, bounces, convergences/divergences, dozens of indis that tell you when a higher timeframe candle changes color or all the other redundant indis around, overly sophisticated money management rules and so on. Simplicity has nothing to do with keeping in mind what's happening across several timeframes.

phx62 from all the posts I have read has always been a positive addition to the thread. His idea of candle patterns and channels are just another simple PA tool. I dont think the time frame is a problem... each to his own. It is the introduction of tools that make things overly complicated

Agreed. I too did not understand the timing, and even had to set up Teamviewer to view the charts as I was away from my computer at 6am London time. However, like GilR said, it allows you to position yourself in the best possible way for the London open. Find the favourable TDIs, analyse the pair, make an informed decision without the pressure of time. Walk away. Simple as that.
