Oh, you could very well be right. It was a good exercise for me to take my thoughts public by charting. It would certainly be a counter-trend trade, if I pull the trigger, but that resistance area does have me intrigued though.

When I look to left of AU on daily all I see is fresh air. Then looking down a little a week or so back I see a similar pattern which resulted in a few days sideways that tricked quite a few retail traders I would think as the big boys were buying up.

Anybody seeing any 4hr trades lining up for 6am London. I have looked but as yet nothing stands out to me

Let me explain my limited knowledge of what's going on behind the scenes that many of we retail traders really don't know about...as I understand it.

Retail traders really don't move the market. The hedge funds, institutions, banks and large businesses do. (A couple of years ago, Chrysler made more money trading FOREX then they did selling cars...go figure). You can Google this concept and read them referred to as "Money Makers", "Wise Guys"...I just call them the big boys.

With the volume of money they can put into the market, it will move, and trust me, they know what direction they want it to go. My little position from my home computer would be like trying to move an aircraft carrier with a row boat...ain't gonna happen.

So how can they manipulate us? Often, not everyday on every pair, they will induce a head fake move designed to trigger resting orders or retail traders to enter the opposite direction of the move they desire with the accumulation of their net Buys/Sells. This is what I refer to as Stop Hunting. In other words, they want we little boys and girls to panic and exit the head fake move which induces orders in the direction they really wanted in the first place.

Look at the EURJPY M15 chart below. Most of us are familiar with the TOK 5H channel. This is where the market is reasonably calm and a nominal range is established...say 20-40 pips. What do retail traders do? Some straddle that channel with resting orders and some entered market orders when they noticed the PA heading south thinking it was the beginning of a Sell move. Well, it was the beginning of a sell move but it was initiated by the Big Boys moving price opposite of the direction they want. Nominally it moves 25-50 pips and then bam! They flood the market with their net longs and trailing stops get taken out or retailers panic and exit. Remember, when you exit a Sell you do so with a Buy and that's what the Big Boys want.

So in the picture below they forced the pair 25 pips down and the real desire was the 75 pip rise contained within the yellow oval. Then the market consolidates and it starts all over again on a new trading day.

So put this in real terms for you and I. Have you ever been in a position thinking you were the world's best trader, up 15-20 pips and then get stopped out wondering what the heck just happened. You were a pawn in a much bigger game my friend.

I've noticed that this situation often does not play out in front of High Impact news releases because the Big Boys really don't have any control over the statistics (at least I don't think they do...lol). So when I refer to Stop Hunting in this thread, that's what I'm eluding to.

Other traders----feel free to add on if you have additional nuggets of information.

EURCHF if you look at weekly I think it's in a frightening zone to play. Still look as manipulative as ever.

Checking 6am entries and considered EJ short but price is only just breaking the 5 ema and the last candle had long wicks on both sides so I'm gonna leave it and wait until until 10am

what about EA?

sittin' right on a pretty significant S/R zone as support, if it goes, it's a gunna go. But, I just see no set up in the next several hours...

I am doing some back testing and I need your help guys in building an Excel sheet that can build data from back testing , ie what should I write in the columns of the sheet

For example Date - Time - TDI Cross Angle - OB, OS - Candle Formation etc

What should I include , and if you guys can share with me a temple I am grateful
