Every action requires and equal and opposite reaction. USDCAD shot up like a weed. This is a relatively healthy pullback. I see support at 1.0890. The dollar sold off going into the FOMC minutes, like it always does.
I don't expect anything dramatic out of the Fed. The non-farms may not have been as good as economist thought, but tapering is still going to happen and bullish for the dollar.
I also favor US economic data over Canada's. Look at the horrendous building data Canada put out today
If all things remain equal, we could see a 60-70 bump higher. The potential for higher rates should also been seen as positive for $$
