No cares on EU today but have been getting crushed in my current long dollar positions vs. Yen and Aussie.

Was long USDJPY (largest position) and short AUDUSD (1/3) size of USDJPY position. Sadly, both are the biggest gainers vs the USD today. Thesis still intact as I still think the US dollar strength will improve on the back of stronger data. Trade was also selected as the two pairs have some diversification benefits as risk on tends to favor AUD more than USD vs JPY. But ugh, taking it in the chin and gave back a lot of the profits from Euro and GBP shorts from pre-NFP periods within the day.

Lets go dollar.

EU now that we had printed 3800, time for 3600 this week. noted, H8 reversal stick on EU almost complete now.

Thats really hard bro I know but you gotta know where to get out, I had to cut the loss on Aussie shorts while ago. Its hurts but you have to do it some times. Aussie especially, Euro you can sometimes get away with.

Ya its getting to the point when I am ready to throw in the towel. Have a hard stop on so lets see whether its triggered. Looks close enough to it unless we get a strong bounce back.

If there is any place the USDJPY could retrace, this one seems appropriate, but I don't expect full reversal, we have bear engulfing on monthly and a 786 weekly chart. Have a look at my charts on my profile.
As for the AUDUSD I have been long on this one since January, a retracement could happen from here as well as we are at weekly R2 but I can't see it for too long before a sell signal on weekly or monthly. If you need anything just ask. Cheers.

EU rally might be impressive, but that's like three shots in a row to try and D1 close above 50% fib of the recent down move.
and it's already getting prepped to sell off.

building a base to take on 4000? Might as well be that it's prepping the cushions for a steep drop instead.

Appreciate, I have checked your charts in the past. Right now I have strong stops on both the position. Levels I am targeting are ~102.5 on the UJ and ~9260 on AUDUSD. Not expecting a full retrace but IMO, this whole dollar selloff has been hugely overdone. I am very curious to understand why this massive rally in JPY is happening. Typically a JPY rally = broader selloff in risk assets (aka equities, AUD/CAD etc). We have a rally is everything EXCEPT the USD.

Crazy movements from a fundamental perspective.
