Indeed too true. And as with any good "Trade", discipline is needed- you can't sit down and watch TV and forget about the cake in oven or it will burn.

since the obvious trade on the euro is to short now given the dovish comments about EU by draghi I would not short till german data. I don't want to get caught shorting. even if I am shorting I may not earn more than 100 pips this week.

1. No of pips from high to low
2. Divide by 2, 4, 8, 16 until you get approximate number of pips you intend to trade, i.e. 50pips, 100 pips, 200 pips, etc.
3. Keep on deducting this sum from the high (or adding to low).
4. You may also like to mark 50% and 25% of the total move as these are stronger levels.

The daily, weekly, monthly charts are still caught in the range of various triangles and wedge patterns in consolidation. I am expecting a bullish week with plenty of support at the 1.36xx levels and with the 3 weekly bear candles, though I still think the daily range will be crap as per recent weeks. A daily close below around 1.3670, the first weekly support, may see the beginnings of an avalanche of the bears however- as I think the fundies keep talking about and expecting. The next support levels I have are around 1.3635 (daily), 1.3625 (weekly), and then the monthly and weekly fib levels as the last line of bull defense. I am not expecting a large bull candle and don't expect pa to break monthly resistance at 1.3800 or the weekly fib@ 1.3828, but if it does I will be looking at a long term bull stance as it will be a confirmation of a weekly bull BO in mid Feb.

yes it was manipulation.
Last manipulated one was 24 of march. I know them all.

my yen pr is gj so for now I enjoy the daily rejection, possible target or test 6960, weekly is still bullish, but this 3rd rejection could be a sign of changing, any gbp weakness will help, but no data today only kiwi aussie tomorrow average gbp in evening and next decent gbp market mover wed morning, so good time to hunt out a couple decent movies maybe
GC also testing support
GU is in process os piercing support daily for 2nd try

so im thinking any pr but eu is better option until the present levels sort themselves out

Look at the left side of the chart, a huge move up. PA normally comes back near the base of such moves to make another move in the same direction. That is, after heavy speculative buying, buyers wait for a better price and buy again near previous buying level. But if fundamentals change, previous buying levels offer some resistance before giving way. I see none of these two at this level.

it is called high timeframe noise, being so lower timeframes should will be a nightmare

last 3 week candles are clean bearish albeit all 3 having uncomfortable big bodies (spinning tops), the 6 candles previous were all bullish but again other than the 1st candle which printed a decent bull cnadle, were spinning tops also, the problem with the 1st cancle, is the week prior closed bearish encompassing as we know all spinning tops or even doji,s are murder to try and trade

shes been in ping pong mode on daily since oct last year, good wishes to anyone who has been able to trade her since then, fortunately it hasnt been me, I would have jump of cliff long time ago

By the way, Im not thinking there will be a several hundred pips ride north Im thinking other direction, on weekly she is @ support rising tl if can get through Im thinking 3596, through there and next stop 3108 I am seeing her pa much clearer on swissy
