Automatic trailing SL is not a good choice for this it seems. Stopped me out from NU trade at +46 pips. I could have ride it a lot longer.

Yeah things will get better asap now that I stopped sabotaging myself lol. I took the counter trends on AUD pairs also and got raped. Looking at AUD pairs now I can see where I could have got in a lot of bounce trades going the way of the trend but I didn't and got abused pretty bad. I still made 1,643 Pips for the month of Match so that wasn't bad at all.

I'm looking forward to crushing the market now that I know what I was doing work this and last week. Congrats on the PIPS man! Daily Charts? Wow your hardcore!

as33156

note on your gbpnzd chart how the TDI line exited the blue volatility bands long at the signal point. This is normally a very strong confirmation of the entry.

Wow thanks for the heads up Zoopots! I will make a mental note of that for sure. Just shorted NJ on the bounce entry. Hopefully I shorted it at the proper time and way you are suppose to do bounce trades.

Hi everyone, because I am located in Thailand, and because much of my time is consumed doing simple things that take forever here which could be done in a matter of seconds in the States, and because the NY session gets rolling right about bedtime here as we all wake up at 4:00 AM for our jobs and school (I can't use alarms or even buzzers here because the whole family and the dog wakes up) I need to utilize a trade manager on my VPS. I have several, but each one has its deficient idiosyncrasies and the one that I want to use, I do not have the PDF manual for it: Cynthia's Trailing EA. This is the advanced EA which is a trade manager, that normally comes packaged with the Cynthia's Xtra Advanced System, not the basic "Break-Out" Simple-System EA. If you have the manual, I would be forever grateful if you could post a link for it. I follow this TMS forum and trade it daily, so I am posting this initial search request here. If there is a forum that would better suit this request, please advise me. Thank you.

Sweet homework. You are learning faster than me! Do you mind sharing TDI with 3 lines (yellow included) since I only used simple one with 2 lines promoted by Big E and was taking every cross and that's were I have been destroyed during last weeks.

Here you go buddy! Just make sure to select false for arrows and sounds if you don't want to get a lot of annoying alerts.

This is the standard TDI indicator. You have to go into settings and change the colours of the lines to make the yellow MBL visible.
Focus on the process and the profits will follow

Thats that it said and going back weeks it produces tons of safe pips. Plus with the bounce trades its a nice 1,2 combo

I'm analyzing graphs as we speak. It does give safer entries than regular crosses. You do miss out on lots of pips but also avoid losses. Better safe than sorry I guess!

I'm sure "As" will pipe in as well (since question was directed to him), but let me share what I've been doing. I have refrained from (with some 'pain') to NOT add anything more than what's simply offered on the first page. I am having to 'unlearn' some old habits, one is always looking for another indy to 'help' things and just study PA, learn tendencies, be strict with entering trades - what I mean: enter on first (or second) candle to cross and close through yellow line; TDI to cross above 68 for a short, or 32 for a long (this btw increases odds of successful trade nicely) Angle of TDI cross to be aggressive, 4-5 by the clock for short or 1-2 by the clock for long (which also signifies a good entry. And Patience, lots of patience. I mean lots of patience.
The results for me are that since last Monday, I have entered 5 trades. 4 have been positive trades for 30+ pips (Exit strategy and MM will be in the future - baby steps). The one losing trade was for 8 pips (PA, just did not go anywhere - looking back TDI cross was weak and I entered against the trend).
Basic stuff like Eel has preached is critical as well and I'm re-acquainting myself with looking at PA from the top down.
A very, very big habit for me to break is over trading. I had participated in the THV thread and system for a long time and was/am used to 5 min-15 min time frames for trading. 4H is a huge change in mindset, but I like it. I find myself studying what needs to be learned and not just stare at a screen.

Thank you for sharing experience. I'm also breaking my mindset right now cause I've been trading 1H-1M system...Totally exhausted me mentally and somewhat financially. TMS 4H method is really something and I'm working hard and re-reading Big E's posts everyday trying not to miss anything. What really put my face down is last two weeks when I was high on previous week success and taking TDI shorts on Aud pairs in 68 area and kept on loosing.
Am I missing out on one important rule that you shouldn't be taking shorts above yellow TDI and longs below?

I'm pretty sure that will help you 'see' the stronger moves. I know for me, I'm hesitant to to trade against the overall trend. ranging is different, but as Emmanuel has mentioned Aud is a commodity currency and is in a nice long climb right now (ex. AJ) TDI can give an interesting 'look' for a short at times, but, I pass looking at the bigger picture and move on to the next pair. BTW - that's another big change for me. I used to only look at EU, now I'm up to 9 and counting. But, on a 4h chart, I've got the time....
