Starting to build a position for a run to 1.21xx in the coming months.

Here is a chart I made showing the expected change in RBA and RBNZ rates over the next year (RBNZ expected +125bps, RBA +40).

Bottom pane shows spread between the forward rates vs the AUDNZD - based on policy expectations the AUDNZD is quite cheap

I thought the overall view was bearish on this pair as major banks are forecasting it to be in the 1.06 area for the next 12 to 18 months some even calling for parity. From a fundamental point I see strong growth, rising interest rates for NZ for AUS rising unemployment, slow down in mining investment a lower AUS dollar might cause some inflationary pressure later in the year which I see as the only reason for a rate increase in AUS. My medium to long term view of Aus is 80c and below is coming. NZ is going to get stronger in the year ahead. In short I would be careful going long AUS NZD as 1.10 is as High as it's going even if it even gets there

I just closed longs from last Friday. Whats everyone thoughts on this 4H chart? Fib %50 400MA and the yellow is a monthly pivot line. Looks like a good possible short. AUD is so strong at the moment though.

Looks to me like this baby is turning the corner off support.
A drop to retest the broken TL could be just what the DR ordered for a healthy target above.

There's a nice broad range to play with.

Looking to go long from 1,0600

I am looking at the 1.0490-1.0530 level for a long.

I'm not sure if we can drop down there again.

NZD rates going up possibly in June, RBA sidelined. We can do it. NZDUSD .89 is feasible.

1,850 looks like for me will be a resistance are for one more time.I dont know maybe i wrong just saying whatc out with longs.

Nobody should be giving out analysis on this pair right this moment, it's too sideways and unpredictable, especially with that drop at the end.

I'd be looking for shorts on the next few 4h candles, but I'd have to see some real volatility behind it. I'm an indicators trader, and only about half of them are telling me to go short right now. Not enough, but a short here is on my radar.
