I got stopped out of my NU trade for 13 pips profit. Now I'm only in UJ. Up 3 pips for today & of course my GCAD trade I bailed on is 20 pips in profit now. I took a 20 pip lost on it. Thats why you gotta set & forget.

Hi Fx94,

Look at the confirmation bar. You see how massive it's range was? Now scroll back through your chart and see what happens after every candle bar that looks like that. I'm pretty sure you will notice that the market always does a nasty pullback the next bar. Never get in after huge candles like that.

i think what u did wrong that u entered the trade short while near 32 TDI and TDI -the red- was flat.
according to Big E be careful on this -mean there are high risk-.
better to enter long when TDI near 32 and green cross red up OR short near 68 when green cross red down.

Fx. If you look back, the pair made almost the exact same move before. Both times price consolidate & retrace right after the move.

On my chart, price also touched trend line. I would not enter this unless I see more confirmation that the trend line is broken.

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is in green today.
Here are trades from today.
Was in some good trades but closed them early because i have reached my daily target of 2.5 percent already.
So here is a quick summary, if anyone need charts and explanation on any one of it then please do ask.
Time is GMT +5 in my country so you can compare that with you own for trade entry and exit timing
Sorry for not posting charts as i a feeling too sleepy now.

big thing i noticed is you entered while the TDI was around 32, that doesn't leave it much room to go down and it is not a good time to short around there, instead you should be looking for the buy signal coming up from the 32 level

you are obviously a seasoned trader. can you recommend any courses / books? how did you cut your teeth in trading?

also what is your approach to TMS? what sort of preplanning and PASR techniques do you deploy, fibonacci etc?

Well to be honest i never written down my trade plan, Its just experience, screen timing, price action understanding that helped me in being consistent over time plus the most important is trading discipline.
I follow all guidance given by Big E regarding TMS, Download his posts pdf and read it all.
After that if you got time read posts of emmanuel, they will definitely help you a lot.
For entry and exit.
I see a lot of things before jumping in a trade and for your surprise it takes me not more than 5 mins to decide whether i want to take it or leave it.
I look for confluence of TMS rules with price action, support and resistance, room for trade to run, stop loss distance, trend, timing of trade, momentum, daily range, order flow etc
One thing i like to add is i trade only 4 hourly charts, manage my trades in 4 hourly charts only. Only multiple time frame analyses i do is mtf indicator you see on my charts. Before taking trade i just look at that and see what other time frames are doing.
I like clean charts which can explain clearly what price is doing.
I am not random, U just can't think as fast as me....

Fx94:

What you did wrong was you chase after the market (that bigger than usual candle) a WRB and you did not wait for a good entry sell price.
That candle closed far below the PAC lower channel and hit a BRN 1.5100.

Look at W1 chart, do you see a support level?
