I am not supportive of Germans invading of the former USSR in WWII, but if the Germans waited a couple years to stabilize before their action to the USSR, more people would speak German now.

i dont know.. who does the u.s not care about? n. korea, Russia? the u.s owes china and any war aggression on u.s. or u.s. alias makes it illegal to pay them, once war is declared. that frees up a lot of u.s dollars to fight china. then the trade deficit is positive since we cant import, and employment is 100%.
i am sure a lot of thoughts will go into the process. a trillion + $, plus the exports to the ez and the u.s.,roos lost... then the roos will stop exporting to china also. take out one dam and some conductors over electrical grids and its over

The best argument I can think of to be long Euro based on fundamentals is the news that came out today of the potential Russia-China gas deal. This could potentially be significant blow to the petrodollar... at least the most significant one yet.

There really is no need for wars between the US, Russia, and China. Just need to ware the economy down of one country, then that country has no money to sustain its military needs, the weapons will rust, technology will be old because there is no money to develope new technology

Your right, that is not an angle that I've really considered before. But it's hard to see anything but appeasement coming out of the US towards China. The US does NOT want war with China, yes it would be nice to just erase all of that debt that we owe them... but then who will buy our debt and make our nikes and iPods for us?
