I don't see any other potential entries for the next 4hr candle on my charts. Currently my AUDUSD & GBPAUD are in minus via some unfortunate pull backs. Lets stay positive and hope they pull into the green when 12am 4hr candle appears.

I'm in the CAD at 1.12405 also with the 38.2 fibo target. I'm concerned about entering at the wrong time of day though.

Also took EC just now. both look promising as far as I can tell.

can i try to perhaps help you on this.
you may want to take notice that the pair you choose is Euro/Aud
Euro mainly does move around London market, but Au, can move from Sidney market. So while you look at the move and say its outside London time, you need to remember outside London time usually means Sidney/Tokyo in which Au usually start to move especially when there is news.

So my point is, to know what pair you are trading and what market time they move on.

purely on the graph i do see the potential, but not gonna take it

Reasons:

1. USD/CAD is in the really uptrend bias
2. cross happen out of New York market (US and Canada shouldn't move much when its not during New York) aka no momentum
3.that TDI is still above 68, i rather wait for it to happen after it cross out from 68, i have had experience in which it just turns into a bounce and keep on going upward.

thats just me though, good luck to you if your in it

I just realized this.........Tokyo market is closed today......totally no reason to be back looking at the chart when there is no liquidity no?
i figure a nice surf and turf would be a better idea

USDCAD. Price still hasn't broken out of a consolidation box despite having a TDI cross so I still haven't entered it. If you look at candle without HA you'll see.

edit - going through my charts, you'll see several other pairs with TDI cross that stuck in a box the same way too.

I just got stopped out of GBPAUD for 10 pips profit....... For me GBP pairs are the worst freaking pairs to trade. They go 40 to 50 pips in your favor then freaking do a complete 100% pull back every signal time. Of course once they stop you out they go right back the way you wanted them to go and run for 100 pips.

At least AUDUSD is doing well for now.

I would but its not a good ideal for you to have a stoploss that would be bigger then your TP. Because if you lost once it could wipe out 2 wins.

I'm using a 20 pip trailing stoploss effectively for the first time, it usually retraces, then hits my TP as well!

This should get you pointed in the right direction, it is based on the RSI.

You can use the highs and lows 2 candles back from your entry candle for stops. I do it. This way I can weather the storm and I have it where it will move my SL 2 pips in profit if it goes 30 pips in my favor.

My SL on GBPAUD was 95 today so TP of 40 pip won't cut it. Hopefully you will make back your loses and more later night. Looks like some good setups are coming.

Are you using the last swing as your SL for initial entry?
