You sure you've drawn your upper wedge line correctly? When i draw them like your chart, the highs of 1st, 3rd and 4th feb 2013 break through, and there is no prior pivot point before the market enters the wedge. When i draw them, we have broken the upper wedge line in the last few days and have today retraced back under.

Yesterday I filed my tax return for 2013 and I am getting a lot of money back, this morning I played video poker and won the 4 deuces, and of course I cashed in on my EU shorts.


What else can go wrong? or right?

So since 25/10/2013, we've had 3 recent tests of that line on the daily chart. Two for a few days, the latter being just recently when we had two daily closes above the wedge line, and on 27/12/2013 when we had that spike high which actually broke through resistance. The more S/R gets tested the more likely it will break. And we've just had a textbook Elliot retrace.
