I don't see any real movement until real news.

Maybe the shots fired in Crimea just now won't upset the market

mmhh.. I wouldn't know. Monthly timeframes doesn't generate enough "broken trendline" data.. our concern is about consecutive uptrend/downtrend candles .

Yet another story is defining a time window to help normalize 'perspective' because things change over time. So for example, since we are talking about the odds of 7 uptrend weeks in a row: in 2014 its the first time it happens, but since 2002 I can see a couple of cases on my weekly chart.

GU broke H4 16590 and have a lower H4 close at 16580, currently GU is hovering 16570....

snp & dow jones headed to newer heights whilst usdjpy headed towards 101.30 now 101.35.....this is a new divergence...usually we have strong positive correlation (~+1.0) between EURUSD, EURJPY, USDJPY with dow jones & snp500...

Yes you even have a 9th in a row back in 2007 , but hey... those were awesome times weren't they?

Will the EU not sanctions Russia if they continue ? Will that not bring EURUSD another drop?

I see a bullish trend, but I'm not ready to step in this indecisive market.

And after that if someone was serious they could go back over those periods in the past and try to find reasons and perhaps correlations. Perhaps a TL broken, or a blackswan event, or maybe the news of time period, etc etc.

I'm a bit busy for that atm tho
