I opened short positions on the euro and 1.3966 with a stop for the purpose of 1.3830. I do not expect any sudden movements today, so the purpose of reduction will 1.3860-70 area.

UJ has H4 resistance at 101.80, unless we see a clear break here, UJ might go back to 101.60...EU is quite sticky so far....refusing to have any amount of decent retracement...

Monday morning rant: I've had the same plan for 2 weeks buy up to 1.3930 and sell. You had sell stops under 3930 Dollar pairs topped Thu and then dumped. Retrace called and now hopefully extension. I've put 58% on my account last week. You got no open positions today? your waiting for a higher price! It's big drop day, I been talking about for two weeks :nerd:Are u serious? Come on, get on the team for the big win. You may be right waiting for higher, but I'm sticking to my plan until it blows up -7%.

Putting 58% on our account in 1 week means you can just as easily lose 24% in one week assuming you have good RR ratio... Doesn't sound viable to me

Think I was exposed to 30% risk at some point last week. My friend virtually fired me. Luckily my analysis was sound and sticking to the plan It payed back. This came about due to jumping in to early (wrong analysis/fear trade) and then in again at the right level. Also another trade on GU had me overloaded. but I think the risk reward ratio is amazing so..... Fear trade: jump in to early for fear of missing a move / hasty analysis, it's one of my favorite mistakes.

we have eurozone cpi coming out in 30 mins, does anyone think its important? eu to spike to 1.3950?

we have risk on at the moment, NY is likely to play london's lead...for now, eu is sort of floating in the clouds...

if inflation is well anchored, eu should spike upwards, draghi and ecb seem comfortable with eu ard 1.39, perphaps, its at the top end of their comfort range..., that's why they are sitting on it doing nothing..
