The problem with keeping up with baskets generated by Seller's EA for a longer term is that they are all relative. They are not bound by some fundamental rule, like C14 or C5 baskets or single currency baskets. If you create chart with more history on strenght baskets you can look way back and see an extream choppiness. Correlation baskets need testing

That's why we are here, to help each others testing this great EA, and baskets generated by the EA can't be backtested, and I don't mind to do some forward test, maybe it can be useful for somebody, not only for me.
I'm confident with the baskets generated by the EA, as I've seen they look profitable. The EA that generates them is based on T101 system. The revolution here is to get those baskets automatically and then trade them in a similar, but developed, way that others has been trading in this forum.
As I see it, when the EA generates that basket it could be a good opportunity to avoid choppy markets because of the strenght of the basket itself. Of course, that one would be a basket for only the current trend and then you "must" renew it. It's like jumping from one basket to another and be always in the strongest one. With the settings we have in seller9's expert, it can be even more easy to be in the good side of the market, with all the tools he has coded. That's, of course, just an opinion.

with BT_CS_v9 EA you may filter higher timeframes, and focus only on H4 Tf and lower(H1,M30,M15,M5),
this is a good trick to see the most trending basket for intraday trading

I just came across this EA / Indicator and i must say that i am thrilled with it in how it creates a seemingly weighted chart for the basket that you create.
From a technical analysis point of view its perfect to supplement the tricks i already have.
Good Job SELLER9.
Really do appreciate men like you.

{quote} Hi, at the moment only follow HAS and XO. Exit in HAS_PA SL and BE HAS at 2,200,2,1 (200 for the distance to the chart and 1 for fast entry) It work fine with volatility, it would be fantastic to add a "schedule hour" for on/off AE ... maybe the fantastic Seller9 can add this to the list .... Regardsssss

Hi Claxo.

Xo will be always 50 89 right?

Can you explain how you manage entry and exit and when you start, have you a indi for the volatility?

And how you can follow so many pairs?

BTW what is your setting for H1 H4 ?

Regards

Ya, that was my point as well. The beauty of this EA is it's flexibility and a good field for experiments.

I will be posting any finding that might be of interest. So far, for only a few days, the scalping idea seems to be working. It looks like there is a high probability an S basket will move towards it's direction for at least a short ammount of time.

Trying to catch a newly forming S baket to ride a bigger trend is what i will be trying to achieve.

Seller9, I loaded the BT_CS EA for the fist time yesterday after the markets closed all i.a.w. your instructional video. This is what I have. Is it looking like this because there was no data do to the market closed? or did I do something wrong? Thank you for you help.

To all, I don't see much talk on this thread on the BT_CS EA. Who is all using it to create baskets to trade. It seems to me this tool would give you the most current and strongest trending basket to trade with. Is anyone using it and if so how is it working out?

what do you think about this possible new feature for BT_CS_V9 :

add the choice for monitored pairs...

currently EA is following 28pairs,and many of us have wide spreads on those "exotic" pairs
I'd like to follow just the original Julius Trader 101 pairs,

AUDJPY
AUDUSD
NZDJPY
NZDUSD
CHFJPY
EURCHF
EURUSD
EURJPY
GBPJPY
GBPUSD
USDJPY
GBPCHF
USDCHF
EURGBP

does it make sense?

I will change it to give you the option to crate your own list.

I have changed it in version 10, but you also have to tell it how many pairs are in the new list.
This is still an old version 509 that has not been upgraded to 610 and 610 does arrays a little different than 509 so for now just change the list to what you want and be sure to put the number of pairs in the new list into the "NumberOfSymbols" setting.

No Idea, as this is a old build 509 compile so if it works at all your lucky.
I don't plan on redoing it at this time as there are just too many things going on with MT4 to try and keep up with all the indies and EAs that have problems, maybe someday things will settle down.

Bourne, I must be missing something here, I'm trying to set up the BT_CS_v9, I have one computer with the old build 509 and one with the new 610. Seller9 says it is not coded to work on the new build. So I have loaded it on the build 509 and I get the same screen as with the build 610 screenshot above. Please any advice or help?? Thank you.

Give this Build 610 a try, the correlation seems to be off, so maybe don't use the correlation, but the strengths are OK.

Also, you can edit the symbol list and you don't need to enter the number of symbols, it will calculate it.

I will do some checking on the correlation part when I get some time.

It should work on the weekend, it works for me.

Use this on Build 610 only.

Seller9,
No joy on that v of BT_CS. I'm thinking because I loaded for the first time after the market closed the EA has no fresh data, or update. But the history is loaded on the USD/JPY H1 live chart, you think it should show something from the history??? Right? I'll post a screen shot again to include the history. Again, thanks for all your help.
