Buying dips worked overnight again. Nice call. I am thinking the same about JPY - we may get a spike up into the decision but afterwards we should see some strength unless there is a surprise which would send the JPY pairs to test last years highs.

don't know about the spike, we'll see. It looks like upside is limited by China hard landing fears. I am closing my positions on JPY crosses soon and wait until BOJ statement.

retooled my SL vs TP.. anyhow I took a long at 143.098

First Trigger is 143.298 (+20 pips)
Stop Loss at 142.798 (-30 pips)

Once first trigger is touched I cut SL to -15 and look to close at +60 pips which would be 143.698

Been some up and down week, and been nipped with ultra tight stops, so hopefully I can turn March into a Positive month!

thinking maybe 142 first

but if its going to 150 etc

It could, but I doubt it'll go a lot further than the 180deg price level, I'll be shorting any sign of weakness there. Doubt we need to run the stops, yet, retail is still quite bullish with recent strength in the pair. Yesterday's M2 Y-o-Y data from Japan was quite disappointing, also anticipated sales tax rise in April weakens consumer spending and the state of the economy as a whole. Europe is still in the thick of it, too, Crimea is just a blip but the Euro is untenable to anyone but Germany in the EZ at current levels so the teflon ought to wear out soon.

Understand. It looks in Crimea they will vote for mother Russia and everybody who afraid of war will jump on safe heaven JPY...

But better not to combine fundamentals with technicals, just watch the test of 180' resistance ~143.020
