I need you to do the work here:-

1) read this thread on a regular basis becasue the problem with MT4 build 600 above has been discussed many times. You need to copy only the files with extension ___.ex4 to the new MT4 MLQ4 subfolder correctly. You must not copy any of the older ___ .mq4 files into the new build600 above. This will save you from many platform problems.

2) How about you compile all of Bizzle's 118 posts with images and saved that as a pdf for all of us?

Nicely done - I know you take the majority of your trades on H1 signals, but are you trading on H4 channels overlain on H1?

You're not in danger of moving to the dark side and higher time frames are you???

Hi Emmanuel

I think on my side the work that have to be done is doing as much back testing as possible, I hope I can continue in this manner, what I do now is use at least an hour to 2 hour back testing the market on daily basis before LO , I will try to continue doing this at least for this year long and then decide from there

Yes there's light at the end of the tunnel if we do the work associated with trading everyone will eventually be able to trade successfully

Thank you sir. No, not moving to the dark side.......at least, not yet.....never say never. You are exactly correct. I am taking the H1 signals with the H4 charts overlaid. When PA is slow, I occasionally will enter on a PERFECT M15 set up. Honestly, I do check the daily when setting up the H4 channels......good to hear from you. Hope all is well.

Dear Emmanuel 78,
I am already using mq4 indicators in my MT4 and all are working fine except xADR, if we copy mq4 file into the path
C:\Users\Ramesh Sharma\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\C65A751C0750A3F8DFF1452C69A85163\MQL4\Indicators, it automatically make 1 ex4 file for the same indicator what I observed but when I copy xADR,xADR_0.1, xADR_0.2 or xADR_vbobv1 it works fine on first pair windows I attach the indicator to and gets hangs when I try to attach it to next pair secondly I have already mentioned that I get little time to check the MT4 platform as my day schedule is extremely tight and that too which covers LO to LC else I would not have left posting in Daytrading/scalping with high leverage - my proven strategy , I like Phx62 posts very much and I do have PDF of those posts, I also like Bizzle and Imi trading style so want to have a look, I never said someone to compile it for me, I only requested if someone can provide, my main concern is time trust me even I do not get enough time to read TMS and related posts on weekends as I am doing the other office work which I could not complete in the office, its not like I do not want to work hard trust me its time constraint only I like to read this thread whenever I get time to read, I hope you understand.

Does anyone else use FXCM broker on MT4?

Are you able to access the system today?

Mine is unable to connect, which is 3 Saturdays now since around the MT4 update time.

Hi irishtoffy, I have fxcm account. Often on a sat you can't access tradestation as they do maintenance. That's one of the negatives of fxcm.

I'm using FXCM on MT4 and had to use the trading simulator but due to connectivity issue I had to download AAAfx MT4 demo.

Although, I had simulator working for backtesting but the issue is I'm unable to implement Buy open and Sell open script on it. I've used all the steps provided in the pdf as per the instructions but no luck. I would appreciate if any kind soul could help me with it. I really want to do some backtesting this weekend.

I sent a message on FF to Jason Rogers. he is the FXCM rep here on FF. Hopefully he will be able to provide a reason for the continued connections issues.

That may be an interesting case. Separately when looking at tick charts of current prices the speed and frequency, esp of small moves, seems to be in my view of automated trading of high frequency trading which may be only possible of the algorithyms have a predetermined goal.

TheScorpS how do you draw the center line accurately. Do you use any tool ? Built in Equidistance channel indicator is good for channel width but how to draw the center line.

I am backtesting EA H4 at the moment.

Can't help you with that one but can point you to one I like very much. Google on MT4i Trading Simulator.
Posting Demo charts, mirroring some of them live.

FXCM has maintenance time on saturdays. MT4 charting works even in offline mode, without connection to the server.
To have the latest data including friday evening - start your MT4 on friday evening and wait until the charts are refreshed and all data for you open charts and TF is locally stored on your hdd.
