the 1H divergence looks quite promising....if the red stays below the green.

the issue with trading divergences is, if you try to trade the wrong swing for example. the move from nov 8 to the start of this year. There were divergences on the lower time frames however, on this trade the only divergence that mattered was the daily. thats the big issue with trading divergences, trying to find the correct time frame to trade them, because sometimes the trend is so strong that the lower TF divergences have no weight.

how do we fix this? i dont really have any sure fire way to yet, but when divergences keep working their way upto higher TF's it gives you a great indication that it is going to go down, but how much longer is it going to keep going up? Till it stops moving to higher TF's, when it does however you have a target of the first wave of the first divergence......but that doesnt give you an entry signal, anyone have a suggestion?

nearing that 141.00 area again. Rejects off of it again. Maybe a good short from here. I mean rejects strongly every time she gets near the 141.00 area, even if she went 20 pips or so above

took a short at 140.97. looking to close at 140.68.... this is just out of a blue trade to see if that 141.00 rejects hard again.

looks like you're right. However, I still expect some surprise on the downside. The number of shorties prior to the release of US data was overwhelming and Japan has been doing ok for a while now....chart now is bullish but I will wait for the first bearish signal to jump in. EU was also discussing a rate cut today. US will buy a few dollars in a few mins.
