DislikedROFL You guys are funny. Will not get involved here in the discussion, but anyone who thinks, that the big wars were fought out of morality reasons is a bit naive here. Brave but naive. JMHOIgnored
I'm naive but not to the point to believe that wars were and are fought of moral reason.
A) I introduced the notion of morale in the debate for the purpose of demonstrating that Steve is the one who use the moral arguments (without openly admitting it) for condemning the US. He admitted it after a few exchange, at least it proves that he is a bona fide interlocutor. That's not always the case here, isn't it ?
If we use this criteria to the long list of bombing he submitted, my opinion is that at least a few items are defendable in a moral point of view. That was and is my only point here.
B) How can one condemn the US for the mess in Uk. In a strict legal point of view, they have violated no international law. The question is rather to determine if Russia have violated the international law ?
C) The only good news I read in the newspaper is that I haven't (yet ?) found clues of the process preparing the population ( at least here in western europe) to the idea of a war. How one can be proud and rejoice to the idea that russia is going to give a lesson to the US and revenge all the innocents they killed since the WW2 ? No one is going to revenge those crimes by committing crimes against the ukrain civilians. Of course the promoters of the war will be safe behind their keyboards and continue their business.
Should I just ROFL without reacting ?
