tiger woods spend years training, doctors/surgeons spend years honing their craft.

how much time have u devoted to forex trading?

u need 10,000hrs at leasts, google for 10,000hrs rule.

Kind of agree with this.

During the asian session, prices are not volatile unless there is news on relevant pairs, so even a scalp might take hours just to achieve, in which you can leverage higher and put tighter SLs above hi/low. Be more patient during the Asian session, a trade takes 2 hours or more to form don't be too quick to close.

London and NY though, is a whole different beast.

and they still losing $$$? Number reason that people are losing is because of no stop loss.

I usually ignore fundamental news and just look at technicals. But, I can't see how the Euro is going to get bid up with Ukraine and Russia talking of going to war tonight. The Euro is a risk on currency, all this crap is going on right on the Euro Zone's borders, it could destabilize Europe and it's economy, and the USD is THE safe haven currency. Therefore, I'm going short and fully expect the Euro to make 200 plus pip rally tomorrow. lol

I can tell you, it's not 50/50. I've been trading 30 years plus and you can recover from any bad entry. It takes work and disipline but it can be done. 1st off if your panicking or margined out over a 100 pip move that's your 1st mistake, you're over leveraged. You should not think your going to get rich or increase your account with 1 trade. Price moves in cycles, up cycles, down cycles. These can best be seen with stochastics, goggle cyber cycles, cycle_kroufr. Look at stochastics, when they are below the 20 line you are entering buy territory so accumulate. Generally when we you see stochastics above 80 you need to be distributing, EVEN IF YOUR ARE AT A LOSS. Just remember, accumulating on 1 timeframe is distribution on another timeframe. pick your timeframe and stay with it. Each timeframe has a TP, You're generally not going to get 200 pips on a 1min or 5 min timeframe.
There are plenty of examples in charts of fixing bad entries, study your charts, if you shorted a breakout, most of the time you can close it for breakeven or even a small loss when it retraces to the breakout. The point is don't freak out when it goes against you but realize that you are wrong and wait for the opportunity to fix it, don't stay stubborn (and later blame the MM or whatever) and add to you're position.
Without a trade plan, say bye bye to your account & hello to frustration.

I shoulda close my position 15-25 mins ago when it hit break even
