For sure guys. So funny on Friday how the banks flushed out the shorts on EUR/USD. The S&P ramped up to a record high and the euro popped past 1.38. Retail was incredibly short Friday on the euro. It seems to me the banks were already seeing the risks for the coming week and of course they don't want anyone else to be riding their wave so they use stopping volume to shake you out.

They always want to be the ones to sell to you when you want to buy or when you take a sell position it has to be way lower than their short at the top. The Friday moves had nothing to do with anything other than they want you out.

So what they do is this; Banks commit an action like you saw on Friday. Then they spin it with the mass financial media as to why you saw what happened even though it is the farthest thing from the truth.

Yes eitan, but there were articles provided by the mass media on the motivation for the S&P high. What was it for the euro? I forgot. More Flaky U.S. data? A renewed risk appetite? Some kind of crap was reported. Whatever was conveyed it was anything other than the real reason.

Oanda had a sample on Friday of like 75% short and 25% long on the euro so any other reason than burning the shorts is fake, a lie, false reporting.

If they were to write real articles it should of gone something like this; We see event risk the coming week with scheduled data releases and great uncertainty with the situation in the Ukraine. Therefore seeing most individual traders are initiating short positions we want to burn them with inducement spikes because we want to go short for next week.

If you find yourself long/short in any Point above mentioned, conservative TP: halfway inbetween every decision point, dont give away profits. If you can get 50/60/70's, just take it. There gonna be chances for a re-entry.

(Shorts be careful, the downmove might be already done if 170.10/69.90 holds as support here. Then we gonna see a test of 170.80/60 again.

Pair opened below support(170.10). Would stay on the sidelines. However, if 4hr GBPJPY goes back to 170.3/4 levels, long target would be 171.4/5, and then 172.2. All key resistances.

On the other hand, if pair closes below 169.00, 168.2 is next target, being support.

Current Bias: Pair would head to as a low as 169.00, before rebounding up. Will look for long entry now.

Good advice, take the 50 to 70 pips. Must not be too fearful nor greedy. Secretary Kerry is on his way to Kiev to increase the agitation in Ukraine. Unless Britain, France and the U.S. want to posse up and ride in they will not be able to deal with a potentate like Vladimir Putin.

The BOE is expected to let rates stand as they are for now and some analysts don't project a raise until 2015.

No real rush for the exits yet in Tokyo just a refusal to bid at this level so far. Same as usual thick and slow as molasses. London will be interesting. GJ linked to equities and the FTSE is still very fat. Ukraine is just the thing needed for it to run down a bit from the fear to lose weight.

Have to admit I am really impressed by the levels you gave. Thanks for that. However, would you care to clarify how do you foresee the upcoming direction for the next 6-9 hours?
