my pendings on the eu, gu and ea were stopped out. an old fashioned ass kicking. that took all my gu and eu green from earlier in the week. the eu the target before was 3597/8. the mirror image 50% on that target is 3812.. the low yesterday was one pip off 50% mark at 3641. the atm high on this hh break out is the opposite side or = distance from 3728. many times on these b/o the 50% mark is the high or low and we return to the indicated target. if that would happen now 3812 would be the high and the eu would go to 3598.. not a trade recommendation...
EURJPY did hit the 50% retracement off the Feb 4 low yesterday though. I'm sure at some point it will come back to 1.3600, but question is do we see 1.4000 first?

the easiest way to profit is to run nearby stops with minimal money involved. So they would keep buying and put their sell orders just above the nearby stops that were built in the last two weeks. when the buy stops were triggered they just filled the bastards sell orders.

Why they do not reverse? New York guys are not on board yet.

Depending of the fundamentals it can be a game changer. But these BS of inflation NFP etc that everybody knows is manipulated is just a tool in the hands on banks and speculators. Supply and demand rules!!

The ECB, which has been hampered in its attempts at a more active monetary policy by opposition from German courts, is loathe to act at this juncture as the interest rate cut option may be its only policy choice left. Mr. Draghi and company would no doubt like to reserve any such action for a more critical need. Therefore, the markets outsized reaction to today data release is understandable as it virtually removes the possibility of a rate cut this month.

The real question is: How the exchange rate responds to the ECB’s statements and definitions? Media and tons of analyses can write and prophecies the outcome. Its not a question of , if Europe in a deflationary period or suffering a low inflation ? Not if cutting interest rates will help or negative one is much better? Or Quantitative easing requires a treaty’s modification?… What really matters, what the ECB ’s says?. .. If the Euro rises against the American Dollar on his words, who among us can deny that?

EURO
The euro struck a high of 1.3725 and a low of 1.3642 yesterday as Fed Chair Janet Yellen said the central bank is likely to keep trimming asset purchases, even as policy makers monitor data to determine if recent weakness in the economy is temporary. Yellen also signalled the Fed is moving away from its numerical threshold linking any decision to raise its benchmark interest rate to the level of unemployment. The dollar weakened against most major currencies on Thursday after Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen told US legislators monetary authorities were concerned over soft economic indicators though monetary policy remains on course for now. Disappointing weekly jobless claims numbers softened the greenback as well.
