F*ck it... going max long USD here. Nice turn window coming up with EU data overnight and durable goods orders tomorrow. As I have said before this weather situation is VERY binary it seems... the US economy either died in a fire in December 2013, or people delayed spending due to weather. If its the former DXY is probably due for a huge rally in a short amount of time as it catches up with data. All it takes is a few "snapback" prints like New Home Sales was today. A sentiment shift could be imminent. Markets currently offering some decent R:R. Today is also a relatively high volume day for DXY, especially during the breakout hour this morning.

EURUSD short 1.3695, SLs scatterd between 1.3700 and 1.3720.
USDCHF long 0.8905, SL thru 0.8870.
GBPUSD short 1.6665, SL above 1.6735

USDCAD long 1.1060, SL 1.1020.


May add short AUDUSD dependning on how things look as of todays close. Will rethink if durable goods comes in bad.

Hi Citi
Stay focused.Better to have 5 shorts on EU then have 5 scattered orders.
You only need to find 1-2 victims to build a position.
Regards
Aussie not worth touching specially with high swap fees.
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

I would agree with you... but if I learned anything in 2013 it was always diversify. spent 6 months trying to trade the "taper" watching EURUSD while everything else like AUD and EM currencies got trashed. I will be okay though. Im at my screens 24/7 basically. Good luck.

my gut tells me 37xx are toast for now, however, i have no idea top or bottom. the yanks favors pumping euro furiously, but we dont see them pumping when euro hit 3680..

Can't turn a cruise ship on a dime...opened on 2/6 and will hold all but one to target. Last trade will stay open with 200 pip trail when 3539 is reached.
