Nothing new, bear does it often and fkd up though.

You said US corps are already in UA. Thats the 1st sign of US involvment in this uprising. All they need is a reason to create an uprise. In this cause "UA wants to join EU". Who is funding this unrest? Not EU. EU has enough funding commitments

The next question is, How does it benefit US? That is Trillion dollar questions. It is a multi dimensional answer. Political, Economical etc.

It may fall further tomorrow morning with bad German data but can see going above and back to today's 13720-50 area with the jobless date tomorrow and a retraction on today's skydive

I guess, 3680 wast not in the picture at all. At the least, in this wave. Please check your charts again.

Consolidations happens in 3735 and 3698

Capitalism does not equal democracy. Ask Chile, Argentina and every country who went under American enforced 'democracies' during the cold war. But Russia is ruled by big companies and their voice is Putin (Gazprom, Lukoil).

Anyway, trading is affected by such crises so they should be talked about. EU fall today had to do with UA and the Russian tactical forces gathering on its borders (capital flies to safer USD as it happened at the days that NATO was about to invade/bomb Syria).

3680 was psychological area that wanted both parties since last 2 weeks.
Bull was successful to close above by weekly TF thus the rise towards 3750 was normal.
Now it's bearish turn but it seems bear wasted this chance.

First 369x then consolidation up to 3716 could give better strength.

The Financial Conduct Authority has today fined FXCM £4m for a practice it euphemistically termed “asymmetric price slippage”, and which most of us would describe as ripping off clients.
The UK part of the company, whose parent is listed in the US, accepted foreign-exchange trades from retail clients and placed them with other FXCM Group units. “FXCM group kept profits from favourable market movements between the time the orders were placed and executed, while any losses were passed on to clients in full,” the FCA found.

In addition, the UK part of the company failed to tell the regulator that it was being investigated in the US for similar rule breaches.
Affected customers will be fully compensated – the amounts involved added up to about £6m, and FXCM said the average impact on individual traders was $3.70 – and a thematic review in progress should helpprevent such abuses in future.

But the whole episode begs a question that has long puzzled me: why would anyone want to trade foreign exchange?
More so than in perhaps any other area, the odds in forex are stacked against an individual retail investor. The forex market is vast, far bigger than equities or bonds, and most of the trading is done over-the-counter rather than on exchanges. That means the market is open virtually seven days a week and there is ample scope for things to move against you while you are asleep (even if rates themselves aren’t being rigged – an alleged practice that’s beeninvestigated by regulators around the world).

Currency cross-rates don’t tend to move by big intraday margins, so there are basically two ways to make big money. One is to take big bets, as George Soros famously did against the pound in 1992, such that small movements still translate into large amounts of money. The other is to use leverage to amplify small movements and make bigger profits, and that is the basis for retail forex trading. It goes without saying that leverage needs to be managed very carefully as losses can quickly mount.

Not only is the forex market very liquid, it is also very efficient. The kind of political events and economic data that move exchange rates are digested almost instantly. I cannot see what comparative advantage the individual investor has, compared with the battalions of strategists and economists employed by investment banks and hedge funds.


That is exacerbated by the small number of available instruments. FXCM’s website offers a fairly typical 50 “pairs”, though much of the trading will doubtless be concentrated in the major crosses such as sterling-dollar, sterling-euro and so on. By contrast, there are over 2,000 companies whose shares trade on either the Official List or the Alternative Investment Market. There is a far greater chance of an individual digging up some unloved gem of a company that bigger players haven’t noticed, or can’t buy for liquidity reasons.

I don’t doubt that some individuals who are disciplined, devoted and have a system can consistently make money by trading currencies. But I can think of far easier and less risky ways to achieve the same result.

Short term free fall will be prevented by weekly TF

yeah and 3668 or 75 was the first,, i could have held out for 359x.. but prefer to see a bounce before to 3728. still part of the same trade.. when i closed i was looking at r/r on a 3728 bounce.. the question was, why sit and hold on lose the 60 pips already green in a draw-dawn to 3728. at this point i would be risking 60+ 3728 slippage, to make 359x.... risking 65+ to make 75 just didn't make sense to me then. i do this a bunch.. i dont always get the r=entry i want.. but it keeps my risk down

Today is smthing like a day of "decision . On the picture we can see a standard deviation channel where the mid line was broken down - IF the daily candle will be closed under the line there is a BIGGER chance for 1,36000 ,... so ive already closed my shorts and let run others. Actually there will be some "little retre" ,... very little ( The day is over so less volume etc. ) The good thing is that today we already had some movement ,... something more than ping pong whatever ninja movements.
Well we will see what will happen during ninja asian session ,.... but today we can say that night will be more "alive" ,... :

Our system was updated in 2010 to pass all potential price improvements to clients, and our clients have received the benefit of price improvements since that time. Like the NFA action discussed in 2011, this has to do with positive slippage not being passed on in full when transactions were offset with liquidity providers prior to the 2010 update.

Taking a look at FXCM price improvements today…

Analyzing a total of 43,128,901 forex and metal trades executed by FXCM during the six month period of August 2013 -January 2014, 6,391,641 or 15% of the trades benefitted from price improvements totaling $15,726,247. Of the total number of trades executed, 4,648,672 trades were limit and limit entry orders. Sixty percent of those limit and limit entry orders were positively slipped providing clients $7,296,520 in price improvements. Of the total trades executed in the six month period of August 2013 - January 2014 clients were executed at their requested price 73% of the time with no slippage. Only 12% of orders were slipped negatively.

FXCM is currently one of the only firms in the industry to give price improvements on market and limit orders.
