DislikedHey Seller, does the v17 also work on Build 509? My Broker hasn't updated the version yet.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi allisonmagic, nice settings you have there. How do you handle your trade exits?Ignored
Hi everyone how's the trading going tonight? I have a screen shot just taken of one of my setups trading single currency pairs with the bt_14_v17 as you can see it is getting me into some good trades now to work out an exit plan.

QuoteDislikedi see you run the ea on live chart not offline chart
Yes it works fine on live charts but then I'm not trying to use a basket just one pair just had to place the Text files into the Files folder inside the MQL folder of MT4. made them up just as you would for your basket files only with one for each pair that you have available in your market watch window and named them i.e. EURUSD60 for EURUSD one hour chart or EURUSD15 for the M!% chart. Then when you load the expert onto the chart just load the file name as you would for any basket that you wish to trade.
Good luck.

DislikedJust thought I would try something different as it seems we are stuck in a range with the Core 5 basket. {image}Ignored
DislikedHey guys and gals, I bagged over 400 pips last night using the PO lines. I would measure tops and bottoms like sellar did in post 2434. I had the USD7, C!4, C5, EUR7, GBP6, JPY7 and USD7 families going. All triggered except for the C5 as it is in a range.....Good tip I will learn, I am going to learn how to draw trendlines on charts and this EA will clean up the pips.... JimmyIgnored
Hi to everyone.
I have a couple of questions to ask and a thought ass well ![]()
Maybe I should have put that the other way around?
Frist off it seems to me that everyone is managing to get into trades ok without to much trouble no matter which baskets were using or for that matter what the settings are that we use with the HAS, IXO1 and IXO2 indicators admittedly some settings are better than others depending which baskets were trading and the number of currencies contained within that basket. So the big issue appears to me to how do we manage the trade once were in it and most importantly how do we chose our exits. I.E do we just say pick a random number of pips from entry, do we use Fib levels, do we look at pullbacks and say if pullback to where I'll exit or what?
I myself have been experimenting with having two charts exactly the same setup different magic numbers on the expert opening two trades at once setting a fixed profit target on one then trailing my stop on the second once PT1 is reached, But instead of trailing at a fixed number of pips behind price I am using the HAS candles to trail behind.
So if in a long trade I'll trail my stop to just below the HAS candle which is one candle behind current price action and do the opposite if in a sell. that way it seems to keep me in the trade throughout the major part of a move and don't appear to lose to larger portion of my gains when the trend starts to reverse on me.
So what I'm thinking is instead of everyone worrying about how were all getting into trades maybe if some could shear how their managing and exiting the trades once entered with the thought being how can we retrain the maximum profit possible once the trade has been made. ![]()
I think that we can all agree that seller9 has given us all a great tool here that makes our trading much less stressful . Now if we could all come up with some really good trade management ideas cause I don't know about others but for me now It's how can I be sure that these trades are going to be looked after end not give back all of there profit if I'm away from my computer for a period of time..
Thank you all ![]()
