Congrats on the trade streetcry.

Nice clear bullish divergence on M15/30/60.

Traded same move but on M15. Closed at DP for +37.

Took this on GU. Refused the initial entry as H1 TVI was till against the move. Once it turned colour, SELL!!!

Closed at BRN for +32.

TVI is a very nice indicator !! and its been in Genesis matrix all along !!

Hi to all on the Genesis thread.
Thanks to RJ and the Genesis team for letting me post.
I am learning to trade a couple of hours after work each day. That is starting just after the NY open.
I concentrate on trading GJ & EU with RJ's 1m/5m setup.

Its good to be back after such a long time.

170 is currently providing strong support on GJ. The PA on 5m chart gave good warning that this could well be the case again.

Also, your M15 arrows seem to be way ahead of what I have on my chart. I had the M15 arrow at the close of the 13:55GMT candle..... Don't know if its a broker thing!

Welcome to our new members....more of us to take the banks money!! There will be a few more joining shortly too.

Just one point, I received a PM concerning the new Build 600 zip file of the Post #1. The concern was that it wasn't set us as per the M1 trading set up. That's true, it isn't!! It's set up as per the standard M5 trading that Genesis is based around.

The M5 set up originally used only the M5 stoch (11,3,3), but over time we discovered that is handy to also have the M15 stoch setup on the same chart. This is how the new zip file is set up. All the standard stuff, but also including the MTF Stoch set to M15 time.

If you want to change that template to a specific M1 set up, you'll have to swap that standard stoch for another instance of the MTF stoch and set it to M5.

So to recap the stoch settings....

M1 trading stochs are:
MTF set to 5 period...11,3,3 and also MTF stoch set to 15 period....11,3,3


M5 trading stochs settings......
Standard stoch (5 period)....11,3,3 and also MTF stoch set to 15 period....11,3,3

GJ has been a bit tricky to trade, at least in the Tokyo and London sessions for the past few days. Yesterday I opened a GU chart alongside the GJ chart and the two were moving in perfect unison. So the 'J' side of GJ isn't doing much of the work...the 'G' side is doing it all. Now, when you have a look at a GU chart....Monthly....yes I know...that's a big chart.....but when you look at it and consider where GU currently sits, it's come up under some massive resistance and this is an area that has turned the pair around several times in the past.It's possible that GU could be peaking here and it may turn around as has happened in the past.....or it could be gathering strength to break out and go higher....no one knows. But what we do know is that the GJ pair is quite jumpy at the moment and is not easy to trade.

So with the above in mind I have swapped GJ for EJ for a while. The ATR on EJ is less than GJ, but the PA is a bit smoother......fwiw

thanks a lot! for this trade i have not paid enough attention on HTF as well the support level. lessons learned!

There is a "sweet spots" indie on page 1 of the thread in the attachments thingy
Load this into your platform and under inputs click "false" for 2nd line on

This will draw the BRNs for you on your charts.........very important lines in the sand where market participants close and open trades.
Some times the BRN can act as a trampoline to price, and sometimes like a vacuum (quote: RJ)

Closed GJ for +22.

Perfect Setup, Marty....M30 & H1 Stoch quite strong & then a trademark Genesis M1 Trade.
