Buying looks like a good idea as I see the intraday retracement is over.

Look at the D chart and see the potential.

Price has just pulled back to the 38.2 fib of the last move down and 23.6 fib of the whole move!

Will we see continuation from here or a bigger pullback to where TheScorpS was talking about 61.8-78.6 fib.

shorted next candle on TDI cross, after some retracement of the news candle, where my prev. long 1/2 pos. was stopped out.

Exited in two steps, because at NY opening the move seems not to continue to the downside.

There was a lovely H4 pinbar that formed at the bottom of the channel earlier this day, that also couldn't break TDI 50 and MBL. I noticed it was a good bullish signal but at the moment I was in like 4 trades so I just decided to watch. I disagree that your trade was taken according to basic TMS rules. Look at where the cross was. You entered at the lowest possible point. If you trade as per the basic TMS rules, you would have shorted at break of the IB, i.e much much sooner.

You have to keep in mind all timeframes, not just H4, when you decide to pull the trigger. Look at daily, how's PA there? Check out H1... is there a possibility for price to pullback from that level? Go to M15, see if there's too much indecision (i.e moving horizontally, long upper/lower wicks on the last candles)...

Trading isn't as easy as "oh look, it's my setup, imma jump in". You have to apply a lot of discretion...

Rebounded back up today too. Didn't take the trade as it was starting to look a little tired on H4 and Daily.

EURCAD H1 +50 & this was a late entry but hit my target.
GBPJPY H1 +50

Good trading Day total +160 pip

When I see those successfull trades, I wonder if I look at the wrong pair. I thought I focus on one pair to start with,,,,

Swaped again from long (with a -10 points loss) to short as per basic rules.

What pair is this? Whats the pink diagonal line. Your "long? or short?"

Don't think its 'as per basic rules.'

Timing is everything, would need to enter as the second candle opens at least, not half way up, as on H1 chart that could 20-30 pips, difference between success and failure on a marginal scalpy type trade.
