My current thots are ; CAD has had enough of selling and will strengthen short term. I am actually short this pair....will see how the day goes

I think its holding, I took position at 1.0980.. Long.

Depending on any once trading style -- Its all about how long you want to hold it, or looking to squeeze out.

First target was touched. 1.06 is achievable in two weeks or less but needs some fundamental supports though.

P.S. Where are the super expert traders were speaking about 1.3 ?!!

I don't think that 1.06 is realistic, neither is 1.3 though. We're more likely in a corrective downwards wave. 1.0941 is the 38.2% from the beginning of 2014 to the high of 2014. We will test that support and IF the support holds, more then likely we will re test the 2014 high.

As much as the USD has been showing weakness, the CAD is fundamentally weaker and overvalued. Just my two cents.

I'll be honest, I went in long at 1.0960 with the current price at 1.0945 with a 1.09 SL and a pending TP1 of 1.1122 and a TP2 1.1215, hopefully I can just hold this open though. 1.15 seems more realistic then 1.06 with the current dovish BOC.

Did anyone trade the weekly pinbar in USDCAD (%50 of the monthly bearish trend) ? I have been on the short side for almost 7 days , and targeting 1,0720s. I hope the trend will be explosive and will not force me to wait more and more :S

I'm pretty sure about the down trend in mid-term. It will go near parity. I'm waiting for the CPI and GDP of Canada this week and next week. For now CPI is much more important. CAD MUST rise its interest rate, Look at the price of housing in Canada. It's really a bubble. The only way that BoC can save its economy is to increase the interest rate.

  1. 1.1030 – Buy stops
  2. 1.1000 – Light offers
  3. 1.0990 – Light buy stops
  4. 1.0940 – Sell stops
  5. 1.0930 – Sell stops
  6. 1.0900 - Bids
