Excellent lesson you are repeating here. Keep doing it, because repetition is the heart of learning.

During the Accumulation (MMs moving price up/down to suck in wrong siders and right siders) one thing the MMs do is to attract right side traders into the market. This is one significant place the MMs will get liquidity from in order to build their right side position. Once the potential liquidity has been drawn in, then comes the SPRING, which has as its purpose the stopping out of the right side traders, steal their money, use that money to buy their own right side positions, and at much lower prices (which is why the stopped out right siders lost money!).

This is the kind of "market essence" that no one talks about. All the crap videos and books skirt the real essence of the market. To be successful, you have to stay away from all that mind polluting and defocusing garbage and learn how the thieves that run this market as a "for profit business" really make their money!

Good job, loeil. And this is not just a pat on the back, either. I mean it! Please keep it up! We all need repetition on these "Truths of the Market"

Well SL on the last horrible EU short 2 weeks ago got hit. Tough lost, but many lessons well learnt through the ordeal and I'm a much better trader for that actually. Anyway will be taking a short break from trading due to insane work commitments and ironically a minor health issue. I wish everyone here green pips and see you soon

UJ Short Trade Opened:

I have entered shorts #1-2, Classics. In the big picture, this could go down thru the 101.00 Level, down thru the 100.00 Level and down to the 99.00 Level. Time will tell. I have not set a TP yet, but the 101.00 Level area would be my first choice. I want to see more PA.

The SPRING = Shakeout!

I am at great loss (temporarily) on this one. This is what loeil and I were just talking about. This is a SPRING, a "shakeout" in market terms, but of much larger scale and for position building for a much longer bear run to come. Well, imho anyway, because we cannot know how price will move next, nor when trends will reverse.

Note, the daily volume has been rapidly falling off, relatively speaking. This could mean the climatic high is just around the corner (if it hasn't come already), because at some point the MMs are simply not going to get enough new suckers to come in long to give them the liquidity they need to prolong this charade. Things are already getting difficult for the MMs. They are trying to build short and they need both new longs and to stop out shorts in order to get the liquidity to do so. And, for crying out loud, in twelve trading days this has gone up less than 300 pips! That is a strong indication the MMs are having to deal with more ranging and less pushing up to new highs in order to deceive,.....and it is working for them less and less, as the declining volume shows!

I agree... its being sold to the euphoric crowd. Whats your take on that huge volume on down move on NZDUSD. That cannot be smart money buying NZ because its cheap?

I totally agree. The indicators work. Many traders despise indicators are claiming that lag behind the quote. But indicators help interpret the quote and waves. But you need to know to use them. In my opinion, Sonic R.System better with a good use of indicators.
