Now some CNBC News failed GDP etc

who cares, but YEN has been well behaved for over week now.

It is certainly true that UJ moves in tandem with moves on the Nikkei.
However the Japanese balance of trade has become negative so long term the Yen will be weak.

CD finished, the short time journey has started to 103 in my opinion.

I believe the rally is driven by the expectations of BoJ further steps to monetary easing, due to the fact that exports were disappointing which led by relatively stronger yen over past few months

Daily looks a lot more interesting. I think we may actually see 100.x area before move back up and heres why:

I have been saying 104.34. But the pair has to make up its mind, setups both down and up right now
should be up until the asian session hits again.
Statng the obvious... attempting to crack resistance at 102, likely a buy instead of a sell in the very near term ... but perhaps a bit late to the party...
Neither UJ nor AU went anywhere during NY session today with AJ stuck at 92 with possibly a slight bullish bias on AJ as well at the moment
Sidelined for me
It's a good point, but a break and retest with a pa entry above 102, for example, might be a cheap way into a longer term trade. I didn't get the 101.50 rejection this time as I was asleep.
