it's a function of the still high EUR/GBP, if and when EG gets back to 81xx we could see more activity higher in GU, but again i'm not happy that this happened without any of the numbers next week in GBP. but the positioning was so extreme that perhaps we just needed to lighten it up. AUD a touch higher too. I really don't know. this could be it, guys, for now.

but also a resistance point, I am short from 3709 tight stop, price needs to clear below 3690 for some comfort

-EG is likely still to yield return though and is probably safest at the moment in this dataless break where most of the stops were in the USD
You do -EG in anticipation of the GBP data next week even if you think the stops in the USD are temporarily exhausted

got strong signals on ej and cj, the problem is gj, which was a buy signal around 168,50. So, that could stall everything.

Was a buyer of EU but now wont touch it. 3580 is where ill consider again

Still me thinks they gonna move JPY td and forward. at least 70 should be bagged..Im jumping in and out trying to cherry pick the bid. Will leave the rest. Ill use proper protection of course

yes you've missed a large part of the move because the big boys realize this too and already whacked it this week but there's going to be more fear and probably more downside
if you're brave you can do just GU but with some stops already run out e/g is a better bet (for now)

Good morning Max, i was talking about the pound not the EU. It looks like a range breaking to me! On the EU side of things, all trades within a range should be valid as long as targets are within the same range. ( I wouldn't take 1.36 lightly, though. Its an essential number in a move towards 1.42 )

all righ,t i'm out of rest at 6710, EUR didn't move. i could be early but you know what i'm happy with this result on a pure stop hunt without any event risk and with GBP/AUD GBP/JPY etc. off highs.

6688 was what pa had as a target. as always there is some slippage. most b/o retreat soon after b/o. if i wanted to long it. it would be much lower before, or at least show a target. i dont trade a b/o until it retreats, and atm we are still under 674x...

You don't need a target in jumping on the band wagons, you just need a number to place a stoplose. On the pound this should be 1.664X , which is consider to be big for a intraday trading. I see your point, however !

here's another trick guys
whatever level everyone is looking at
just take profit 10-20 ticks before (10 ticks usually enough)
like earlier in the UJ i sold it when it was falling during asia session at 101.88, everyone was trying to stare down 101.50 so I took profit at 101.62 and now we are still stuck at 101.8x there,it could still eventually go but look at how many hours of pain you would have to endure
many times the "stops" everyone looks are magnets but they fail to go more than 50% of the time, another 25% of the time it does go but it's a tortuous agonizing process with retraces far beyond the reward even from the stops, and finally only 25% of the time is it a straightforward process.
so don't hesitate to give up some pips taking profit BEFORE the level. sometimes you'll kick yourself for missing the stops, but other times you'll be very happy you did when the market flips 1% in everyone's face from too many people greedy for the stops. this is a BIG variance and frustration reducer in trading.

i need a target to figure out my r/r before entering. atm we are with a new high of 3714.. if this remains the same.. i see a 300 pip retrace as normal, even if its eventually going higher. i am more weghted on the eu drop then the gu because the eg indicates further to fall.. so if i wanted to buy the gbp. it would be at least 300 pips lower
