Update on our Work to Make Upgraded Indys Available

Well, I am now a part of your group, having just been forced into the upgrade version 4, build 600.

From what I can see, there is no longer a place for our indicator files in the Docs & Settings/ Metaquotes/ MetaTrader 4 Terminal file, where previous instructions on build 600 required them to be placed. So, I have no idea what is going on here.

Sir Zulsur is working on our indicators to make them compatible with build 600, so he will probably (hopefully) also send installation instructions to me when he returns the fixed files to me so they can be released.

Sonicers, I will keep you updated as Sir Zulsur keeps me updated. I have not heard from him since I sent the indicator files to him last weekend. His volunteered help is critical to us, but he has other important duties. We are fortunate to have his help. I won't rush him.

Hey thank you very much its works great. just tried it out, download a new release from broker and replace the terminal with the old exe file ^^
And today's trades (still open), all following the classic EP. Second one (G/J) doesn't follow the rules 100% as the first leg (depending how far one is willing to include the start of the leg) doesn't cross the dragon.

TAH's indicators vs. Build 600 upgrade - Control Panel "hot fix"

For those who upgraded to build 600 and had installed TAH's indicator prior the upgrade, the following may help to make the cpanel useable (took me 5 minutes), because the upgrade process moves all the indicator files to the new folder structure, so this part is OK, nothing to do here.

To find the indicator files click File / Open Data Folder submenu in MT4. A folder will open, navigate to the following subfolder (where UserName is your Windows account name; XXXX is a unique number):

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX\MQL4\Indicators

The only action required is to open the following MQ4 file with Metaeditor and replace a few variable / function names and apply changes by making a new compile. Then, restart MT4, when your charts are loaded, select another timeframe, then change it back. The panel should work properly.

SonicR Control Panel
Find and replace all occurances of the following phrases. When finished, click compile:

note_4.0 -> note_4_0
note_4.1 -> note_4_1
note_4.2 -> note_4_2

Note_12.1 -> Note_12_1
Note_12.2 -> Note_12_2
Note_12.3 -> Note_12_3
Note_12.4 -> Note_12_4

TimeToString -> fTimeToString


Hope this helps - at least temporarily. Note, it is a hot fix only.

Closed EU short trade earlier for 1pip loss. Took two long positions and TP's are set and visible on chart. I'm over 90% sure that we will hit first TP pretty soon and maby 50% sure that second will be hit soon after that.

In this state of mind, I consider this as least risky trade.

If all goes well, I will share an explanation with fresh way of seeing things.

Really? What makes you so bullish on EU? An explanation would be nice.

There is a whole lot of exquisite coding I did across our indicators to establish a pleasing priority of placement on charts of lines and labels. This is has all been destroyed by the new build. Lines are over running labels and a lot of other things are trashed.

I have finished several hours of going thru the indicators Zulsur returned to me and emailing him back to try and make him aware of a lot of things I worked a year on that have just gone down the toilet.

I really don't know what will happen next. For me, I am disheartend and just want to quit.

I truly hope Sir Zulsur will come to appreciate all the fine points of my coding efforts and will find ways to recode in this new, shitty platlform so that what was created will not be so totally trashed.

Really, I am sick and just want to quit.

This is what I am seeing with GJ at the moment..
I had originally entered a scout from the recent hike back up but decided to close it and wait for a little longer to short this pair.

The yellow marked area is what I am anticipating and ideally I would really like to see price get above 172.000 before going in with a strong short trade. When would I like to see price get around and above this area? Well after looking at February 18th on the calendar I am going to go out on a limb here and make a prediction that the YEN STING may finally be coming to an end..totally just my opinion though. Although to me it seems, it would be an ideal time for them to pull the rug from under the table..if so down we go..

Damn, I almost blow my account. My fault to try multiple strategy with 1 single account, and it ends bad. Lucky I already withdrawn all my 100% profit.
Next week, I will open 3 separate account with each strategy I've learned. one of them is micro account $500 with multiple scout trade like Tah and loeil did.

GBP USD Bullish! I have been looking for a chance to sell, but it does not look like this wants to go down. Bad news - no issue. Still goes up. I think it will go up tonight There are so many stop loss orders at 16700 handle that it is going to fly up once it hits 1.67. But the question is go where? 1.6750? Can it go higher at 1.70?

Please accept my regards for your profitable trading, and my wishes for your recovery. I guess I am not the only one having a rotten February. Only with me, it is a matter of losing all that I worked to create within our new indicators, not trading capital. I feel I have lost a years worth of meticulous coding to produce esthetic results. And now that @!*%$# build 600 MT4 platform has trashed it.

At least with money, one can get back on the horse. With an entirely new coding language, not so. I really hope Sir Zulsur will be able to cope with all the little details that have been messed up and will need to be fixed.

Maybe if I go to sleep, I won't wake up. At this point, that seems like it would be a relief.

I received the first return of the indys from Sir Zulsur. I ran them thru the v600 compiler. Got errors and warnings. And disturbing is this....

I spent a year figuring out what names should be given to various lines, labels and other chart draws, across our indys, so that what is placed on the charts by our indys is placed in an order of hierarchy that is esthetic....so lines do not over run labels and panels and so that certain lines will remain above others, etc. You get the idea, right?

All this has seemingly been randomly destroyed, as though there is no hierarchy now possible! Does this make sense? No! Yet much of what I accomplished is now not functioning.

An example, an easy one is this. The price labels drawn by the Trade Levels indy should always be on top of price candles, even if our PVA Candles are not used and standard MT4 candlesticks are used. But now they do not appear on top of MT4 candlesticks, no matter if the chart is set to foreground or not! And this is just a very simple example.

Here is another. Our Levels lines, pivots and range lines should never be on top of the Control Panel. Now the pivots and range lines are, but the Levels remain underneath. Can you explain this?

I spent a year being very meticulous and finicky, to the point of perfection. And now, Metaquotes' crappy new build 600 has ruined my work. Can you fix stuff like this?

New 600 Build = Profits for MetaQuotes and Crap for the Users!

After last closing my MT4s, when I tried to reopen them, I was forced to upgrade. No choice! No way to receive live feed unless I did. This F....king MetaQuotes company has got everyone by the balls and only cares for their own profits. That is really all this shitty new 600 build is about....profits for Metaquotes and crap for the users!

I, for one, will never purchase anything from the F...king MetaQuotes "Store". If I could, I feel I'd like to bomb the damn place!
