looks like market is confused which way to go.I don't blame them Yellen turned out to be a puzzle
Did you guys noticed Republican Speaker's tone?The guy was mocking her quoting Washington Journal?Telling her to raise her voice.
There was clear sexism there too.
I think she did a good job of presentation but her statement was poorly written.
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

In 1986, I drove all the way up on this route (now Karakoram Highway) to Xinjian. Just amazing at many places. Construction of this road took a toll of one life every Kilometer. At that time, rocks were still settling after construction blasting. Many a places, you pass through semi-tunnels (left, bottom and top covered with cracked rocks), you never know if the giant rocks at the top will fall before, after or right on your car when you pass through them. I think it was near Sust, where they have paved a 35 Km road right on a glacier.

If you didn't find anything meaningful for economy then I have to think about oil price.

Good morning. Nice to read some meaningful posts while drinking the first coffee. While I consider most of the posts here as irrelevant for my trading, this thread stays the mother of threads, and posts like these make it worthwhile. Thank you!

I thought she handled herself amazingly well. She seems more of a Dove than Bernanke which as a US citizen I am not to keen on. In my mind it is back to risk on and maybe for me taking some medium term Lira and emerging market trades.

There's been a dramatic change to the flight plan but bizarrely the timings are all the same.
