Here's a version of the 89 EMA that's colour coded to indicate trend. It's really the same thing.

When price closes three days below the EMA when it's black (downtrend) or three days above the EMA when it's grey (uptrend) then it's a good idea to stop taking any more trend trades regardless of whether the sonic wave is touching the EMA or not and to try to find ways to cut your losers/exit at breakeven ASAP if you have any. There's also a neutral colour lol which you can ignore and take it as insignificant.

Here's an example in case you didn't think it was possible.

I also like to use the TDI indicator to tell me when to STOP trading and exit my positions.

Or simply use your EYES + Price action. Consolidation/Stalling + breakdown OR high momentum push up plus sharp reversal = exit.

Finally, I also use trailing stops on my open positions.

Always plan your trades and your exit and worst case scenario before taking any trade.

If you intend to cost average/ average down into a position. It's ok, as long as you know when to take the loss (when the trend changes or whatever predefined exit point you have). How I like to do it is to space them a minimum of 1/4 Average daily range apart and enter using some lower time frame signal (of your choice).

tbh out of all the trading systems I have created/come across, I like the volume idea the most because it's actually telling me something that's REAL and not what I believe to be the case.

Price can lie but volume can't. As long as the institutions are buying/selling, regardless of what price it is, it must be a good price LOL.

For small account holders, the best is really more of a scalping strategy if you wanna increase the account at any decent rate.

Point. Although shell did mentioned some "counter measures" I'm not sure if thoes can be coded. That said I willing to go out on a limb out and issue the following to all thread viewers :

If you have been dilligent in your reading, I strongly feel that if you are able to understand and combine the foundations of the classic sonic and PVSRA along with the recent sharing done these past couple of weeks then it is rather plausible that you have an extremly powerful manual system on your hands that few in FF can hope to rival. I can offer no proof of this but somehow I feel the dots are there and all it takes is for you to connect them.

Hello Sonicers,

I have been trying to get up to speed with the system and reading through the old posts etc and the latest ones too... up to about page 50 I think... So far a lot of really great info and useful contributions by a lot of people!

I have two questions:

1. I have not been able to get the SonicR template to load properly on v600. Below is what my screen looks like when I load the template:

Is there a way to use these templates on v600 or are folks running an older version of MT4? As described here http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...71#post7261371 I think I need .ex4 files that were compiled by v509, which I dont have. Is this how others are getting the idies to work? If so can someone post the required .ex4 files?

2. I live in London and work full time so the only time I can trade is NY close and Syd open - I think the advice is that the system is best for the London open and maybe NY overlap but do others trade NY /SY?

In fact, Week 6 was an inverted hammer candle.. It was the kinda bullish warning sign.
and it ends with the Bullish hammer pattern....

It shows that Bear were fought back strongly and Bull are winning again...

As for weekly, I think they are trying to stage "Lower High", this week candle will be the important one..
