What's the best strategy to trade short term on NFP weeks? Of course is the ranging market. Buy and Sell, Sell and Buy is the perfect strategy instead of guessing where the NFP goes.

Thanks for your advise. Yes, I do avoid opening any trade 2 hours before high impact fundamental.

My new strategy is pretty young I have to admit, but at the moment it is much better than what I thought I would knew before.

It showed the last drop on euro the whole week when a lot of guys were waiting for a b/o to the top.

The same this week. The whole week it showed to the top and at last it did.

I still have to wait where and when it fails and then search for the reasons.

Just notice my EUR/USD and NZD/USD hedging position counter bias has closed. Nice one of 27 pips on EU and 14 on NU. Sleep Mode and reentry short term BUY activated. Hopefully I can see 1.36400 when I wake up later. Stop Loss on 1.35400 probably is good now. Bye for now and good luck on bagging pips.

1.3563 is the new daily pivot, it will get tested before NFP report.

I don't see any moves outside of the range between daily PP and 1.3620 until the release

I am ready to start smashing things. This is the biggest piece of bs scamming by Metaquotes, typical of this industry. Years of EA's, indicators, and scripts are being flushed down the toilet with this release not to mention the thousands if not millions of dollars used to purchase them. I have an EA that I purchased in 2009 whos makers have long disappeared. It took me about 2 years to find the right range for its settings to work and now have being running it live for about 4 months with a 26% gain. At the end of each month I recalibrate the EA with an optimisation but this time the numbers didn't add up for some reason. It took me about 4 hours to figure out it was the platform I was using. It has totally fked up the entry rules of the EA. I was going to fund this account with a 5 figure sum at the end of this month; is Metaquotes going to refund my future lost profits? The programmers were getting too smart for their program so they change the fkin rules. This is wrong and if a forced update is upon us then some regulatory body needs to make a stand. About the update too, one of my platforms from one of my brokers was automatically updated without a so much of a by-your-leave, no administrator message and no "do you want this program to make changes on this computer" message. The world is becoming a darker place as the shadows find more and more places to hide....
