I just don't understand why you risk so much to get so little (almost nothing)

Why not making it by betting 10 pips to get 11 ?

Check EU lately, when it moves 400 pips on way, add another 500+ pips.
Worst if you look at JPY or GBP pairs.

And there are lots of opportunities to risk a bit to get double amount of what you risked.

If it works for you it's good, but to me it's bound to fail on the longer term.

As I says, many people will think price travel against for 400pips is a BS signal. I also think the same thing previously, until someday I have realized no perfect entry in this world. I don't mind how much it travels before it reach my goals, the important is it reaches my goal. Looking for perfect entry signal is just like looking for a perfect person in the world.

BTW, 400:401 is just an example. Yes, I agree this 10 for 11 is just same things as 400:401. But why I want to risk 400:401 instead of 10:11? It is just 1 reason, because I want make it simple. 10:11 is easier and fastest, but to me 10:11 is much more riskier than 400:401 in Forex.

Trade more and look at the market more and you will understand why 10:11 is much more riskier than 400:401. 10:11, you can't put away your PC and enjoyed your beer. But 400:401 you can put away the PC and ignore the nonsense NFP. So which is much more riskier?

1 more post for educational purpose only. Everyone can ignore if they think this is BS.

Why 10:11 is much more riskier than 400:440. I change to 440 because suits to 10:11 or 1:1.1 reward ratio.

Firstly, ask yourself how great is your strategy? What accuracy ratio it makes? How many trades needed to achieves 440 pips?

You need 40 times of 100% successful rates to achieves 440 pips, but I just need 1 trade to achieves. Why make it so complicated when it can be so simple? 1 of my golden rules or maybe a reminder, the more position I open, the more risk I am taking, and the bigger chances my strategy might fail. That's why I says 10:11 is much more riskier than 400:440. Hope its help for someone who understand what I am saying.

I think today we will have huge moves on E/U due to the past days "no happening" scheme. But would never ever trade these news unless I have a friend next to me who is working for BIS

Yes ...ofcourse we've got a nice move today.
My system tells my...probably up => to arround 1.3580 - >1.3600-25
My forecast letter I have tells me: the favorable direction could be down...but also not sure...... for a move to arround 1.3317 and besides that he also noticed my view cq. my system his view...

Well that's a pitty, I have 2 different views (I always want them talk the same language....) that's why I closed my positions this morning an stay out for today.... well......maybe at the moment I get more edge for one or the other direction.

Well we see...and wait untill the press-conference

Very little movement in any pairs I monitor this morning, same as yesterday. Why is it so slow this week?

I don't know what will the rate come out later. But technically, I believe EUR/USD will pullback from its lost ground. What makes me feel that? Just because some analysis on correlated pair. One tips that I use when the pair is consolidating. I use other correlated to compare and come out with a conclusion. So for EUR/USD, I use EUR/CHF and USD/CHF. We can see 4H that USD/CHF will collapse down but EUR/CHF is supporting. So I don't know whether I am correct or not, but pretty sure EUR/USD are supporting above 1.3460-75. No SELL on this position except it broke this nasty support.

Yeah, its better to stay away than to trade in a gamble mode. the only pair i'm sort of knowing the direction is the EURGBP, it will spike up during the BOE Rate n statement. so you can take advantage of that for now... i'm preparing the direction and the safe haven pairs during the ECB Press...
I will likely post it if i hv the chance to do so...
