Just for those, who are searching new broker without slippage and low spread, I found one, called FBS. Admiral markets is f***ing s**t, slippaged SL for 35 pips, a**h***s. Sorry for language

Sorry for you loss, they are known for bad execution and horrible slippage. Go with a true ECN like MB or Interactive is my advise.

try alpari uk or axitrader ,those brokers use newyork close candles ie no sunday candle , how about fbs?

Too much slippage, I cannot afford more than -18 pips per major news

For me SL: 20 pips TP: 80-100 pips

I have been studying this news for quite some time and I think that's the best SL and TP but that's just my opinion

Can you guys give me some pointers to help control emotion when trading. I find i get greedy and dont take profits as well as i should and i freak out when a call goes the wrong way. I use stop losses but it still makes me sweat when u see you are losing a trade. If that makes sense?

1.No emotions 2.Set and Forget 3. Money Management these are the Holy Grail of Forex..

The simpliest way is to put right stop loss, how much can you lose from your account, then, if you know how many pips you want, put take profit, else, just open order, put SL and shut computer down and open next day. It is the simpliest way to start with.
Or, just think, there never can be just winnings, there must be some losses too, it's a part of the system.

if you're trading the news, there shouldn't be prolonged pain since you know within minutes whether trade worked out.

if you're looking to do swing trades, start off with D1. I find it the easiest of all the time frames because it takes into account the big move by giants.

if you like to place many trades, do real trades on D1 and place scalp trades on demo account to satisfy the urge. You'll find that the real trades on D1 account is going to make you money and keep you in the game in the long run while the scalping account is probably going to lose you money, luckily its demo money. the most likely cause of account wipe may be 5 good scalp trades, only to be wiped out by 1 large price movement by Mr Giant.
