AUDNZD, AUDJPY and NZDJPY have terrible spreads which is a big problem on the short time frames. I also bounce around time zones a lot (hence the name!). But it is a nice, elegant solution nevertheless.Ignored

Disliked{quote} I think that depends on the time frame you are trading. If you are trading short time frames (233 tick, 5M) you are not typically in a trade for too long. This means you can avoid the news during the day. It becomes much more difficult if you hold positions for a long time. Personally, I keep the following policy: No trade opened within 30 minutes of a high impact news event that directly affects the current pair.
