Okay all. Here's a M5 trade I took after the NYO. Exits are killing me. I've been shaken out of so many, I tried to ride this out on the 15M but price reversed on me. Ended up with a +15 but was sure hoping for more.

Lets here your thoughts pros...

The Genesis template uses HA candles, so all charts posted must be with HA candles.

What you use on your chart is a personal issue.

Yes HA candles indicate trend, but so do my MAs. So by using MAs I dont need HA candles.

But I would recommend using HA candles, for most Genesis traders

Would it be worth waiting for the M15 Matrix to discolour? i have marked all of the exits on your chart.

Hey xs,

Yeah I've thought of that. If I'd have stayed pat and not moved my stop up I could have ridden it out to 50 pips. Exit would have been at the blue line.

Its a tough call, Ive spent a bit of time looking into this M15 matrix exit method,
In a ranging market it can cost you some pips, otherwise it's a fairly good method so long as the entry is a good one.
IMHO the M15 stoch at your time of entry was not the best looking upward "hook" i've seen.
Looking at RJs latest posts, the M15 has a really nice hook happening. OB/OS to the 50 line in a quite short time.

Lately i've been exiting on M5 matrix discolouration, but plan to explore the M15 more.

From market open to where you entered your Buy trade, the market had sold off to the tune of 145 pips....making your trade counter to the trend of the day. As such, with any CT trade, you must expect modest profits.

lost a load a demo money lately ( over trading not taking the clearest of signals )

My Ea trade worked out well. Closed a large part of the 2nd leg for +103 at R1. Leaving a tiny part @ BE + 30.

Happened to my AJ sell aswell.

That's why i usually try to split my trades.

I got 16+ so half days target I was happy with that and it allowed me to do a few other jobs away from the computer
This is my trade i just closed on BRN 170.00. Maybe open was to late but i was waiting to break down through supp level from Tokyo session (white line). When break occured i entered and move my SL lower and lower step by step till BRN. Total +84pips.

Now i can breath deeply, now i can feel like real pro trader, like super hero because...errrrr...yyyyyy...it is shame for my trading skils but i need just only 80 pips more to close this week on 0. Smiling through the tears
