Since I have been attempting to emulate your trading philosophy and methodology, my success rate has improved immensely.

I finished this trading week with 98 Pips what is 200 percent of plan. 9 wins and 1 loss.
Win 118 pips and lost -20 pips
Biggest win 57 pips. Three trades closed on SL moved to BE plus 1-2 pips.
Three trades taken with Marty's MA's and HTF stochs. Its working.

What is a plan for next week? Nothing new. 10 pips a day for total 50 pips.
What is a plan for a weekend? To become more familiar with Marty's way of trading.

So, do you have two profiles? First profile for GU-two charts (M5/M15) and second for EJ- two charts(M5/M15)?It that case you have to switch between these profiles
Or maybe you have two monitors (first one- GU M5/M15 and second monitor EJ M5/M15)?

I am asking because most time i trade on 13" laptop. It is difficult to display more than 2 charts on screen. Thats why i make few profiles.
1. EA M1 - with M1/M5 charts
2. EA M5 - M5/M15
3. EJ M1 - M1/M5 charts
4. EJ M5 - M5/M15
5. GJ M1 - M1/M5 charts
6. GJ M5 - M5/M15

So, i have to switch among profiles to see whats going on different pairs.
At home i have PC with 2 monitors but i use it rarely. MOst time i trade at work.

Firstly....Happy New Year to you all, I hope everyone had a great Christmas/New Year and that you're all ready for another year of trading.

Thanks to those that contributed to the thread over the holiday period, and congratulations to those that took the banks money!

There are a couple of points I need to raise though......and to start with I will paste below what I posted just 3 months ago:

"The reason why no other indicators will be allowed is simple. The system works, and it works well as it is. If someone with a year or two of struggling to be consistently profitable comes here and uses the system as is, they will be on the path to consistent profitability. However, if I wasn't so strict on the indi issue, by now people would see charts with various THV indicators, Coral, all manner of MA crosses, SAR, Inchimoku clouds, harmonic patterns etc etc etc......and then this thread would look like any other here at FF.....and the very people we are trying to help would see this thread as just another mongrel system that is complicated and open to all sorts of predictions and interpretations.

Who will win?......the brokers, that's who!!!

When people become consistently profitable with Genesis, they may well add their own indies to make the system even more profitable....and that's great....I love it. But hopefully, by then, they will realise that others who are joining our thread are in the same position that they once were themselves.

And what do they need? They need a consistent, easy(ish) system with pages and pages of examples with all the same charts, and a group of profitable Genesis traders to help them to become profitable.

And that's the reason why outside indicators have to be kept off the thread."

If you want to talk about 'bundles' of MA's or anything other than the core Genesis System, please do it via PM or start another thread. The very people I see discussing these things are the same people who needed, and benefited from, the nice clean Genesis thread that we have.

Please show some discipline and allow those people who are waiting to join our thread to see the same thing you saw when you came here so that they too can benefit from the system without the confusion that is creeping into the thread.

Comments such as 'I didn't enter because the MA's suggested not to enter" (for example) are way off topic and have no place here. We do not trade based on what any MA's may or may not indicate......in the same way that we do not discuss Elliot Waves, micro waves, Mexican waves or any other kind of wave!!

It's true that I have my own personal version of Genesis, same as Fame of Me does, same as Martyfish does and others no doubt do as well. But I do not discuss that on the thread, and the trades I show and all the testing I have done for the various TF's traded conform to the standard Genesis system.

On Post #1 it is explained how to very easily post charts that conform to the rules, without so much as raising a bead of sweat on your brow.

For the sake of those people yet to come, PLEASE respect the rules and keep this thread clean.

The second point I want to raise is that I may not be around as much this year as I have been previously. I will still keep an eye on the thread, but it's very tiring (and annoying) to have to keep repeating the same things over and over, when the onus should not be on me to keep going over the same ground just because someone is too lazy to read Post #1 and it's links, and/or to use the threads 'Search' function!!

For instance, I see some SL placement questions being asked and various answers given. The placement of SL is clearly explained in Post #2 and it has been gone over several times in this thread!!

So I won't be answering such questions in the future, I will simple tell the poster to 'get off his ass and find the answer in the thread"......it's that simple. People who are too lazy to find the answer and expect others to spent *their time* answering them might just find themselves being shown the door.

Lastly.....if a person expects to learn how to trade with this (or any) system, they HAVE to have the discipline to immerse themselves completely in that system.....and not jump around from thread to thread, system to system and expect to learn much.....because it won't happen!! It is impossible to glance over a system and expect to be trading it successfully in a short period of time, more so if that person is going to have a dabble at several other systems at the same time. Find a system, and focus on it completely if you expect to learn it!

So.....to finish on some positives....

I have all the tools necessary for us to 'take up residence' elsewhere if FF behave towards me and this thread in the way they did at the end of last year. If a 'push becomes a shove', then we have options open to us now, but hopefully the admins here will have pulled their heads in a bit.

Several people who came to the thread early last year are now very good traders, and even better, they are helping others where necessary, which is just the sort of thing that I love to see. I won't mention names, but congratulations to those members.

Several others are teetering on the edge of finding their 'eureka' moment, and they will soon be carving a path to consistency.

Those who are still finding the going tough, read and search the thread, practice and focus on the job in hand...there is no other way.

The IFR trading as on Post #1 is still something people should do, and jjre65 came up with his way of doing it....taking a week of trading and 'live' demo IFR trading instead. The dividends paid back for just one week of serious live IFR trading will advance your skills and confidence in a single giant leap.....just ask jjre65!!

When posting trades, please post a chart. It doesn't matter whether the trade was a winner or not.....we can all learn no matter what the outcome. Posting something like "I just made 35 pips on EU" is not helpful to anyone......it's just text. Show us your trade on a chart please.....it's really easy to do, and we all can learn from this. Even demo trades on a chart are helpful to us all.

One last thing.....one other reason I won't be posting much this year is mostly because I want to focus much more closely on my own trading. I did pretty well last year, but I could have (and should have) done so much better. I'm not blaming the thread or anything like that because I am the one who is to blame for not focusing properly on my own trading. I need to, and intend to address this.

As I said earlier, all the answers are in the thread.....help us (and me) my helping yourself by finding the answer to your question. You will learn so much more by doing that, than by simply asking a question without trying to seek the answer. If you really get stuck, then ask away and I or someone else here will answer you.

So I hope everyone (who hasn't fallen asleep reading this!) has a prosperous 2014 and that we can take the banks money and end each and every week in the green (or black!).

Remember, you don't have to score all the goals of the season in a single game!!! 20 pip / day is all it takes to have a very large account by the end of the year. 30 pips / day and you'll be laughing like a hyena!

I intend to out-laugh all the hyena's by the end of the year!!
