placed limit short at 900 expecting at least 50-75 pip retrace

This maybe a really good time to take a short on the pair just because its up so high,giving yourself about a 50 pip stop lose for some wiggle room during tomorrow's news.

And Why Would You blindly follow their recomendation ?
First of all even if it's heading to 1.12 or even higher it's not so obvious that it will happen in short period of time and without any retraces.
There are some roadblocks on the way up and the rally up should be a little bit exhausted after 270 pips move without any real retracce.

Down move to the 1,0803 fib level or even lower towards earlier range top at 1,073-4 levels should be healthy pulllback for another push up and won't change anything in the longer time uptrend scenario.

Retrace - good point, later Friday or the next week imo..
but i still wonder why Canadian and US hot news should be annownced at the same time, any ideas?

This chart looks like a case of "buy the rumor, sell the news" to me.

Any chart or anlysis suporting that view ?
At the moment everyone is waiting for NFP numbers and their quality ( for example how many of thoose new jobs are full time and not in services as most of december part time jobs would be only for few weeks to help companies with bigger orders during that period.)
I'd say we need some crazy numbers to break higher up without any retrace, as You may know price doesn't fly up without any buyers behind the move and I'd personaly not buy this pair at current levels.

I don't have a chart to post now. All I can say is that 1.0875 is an old resistance dating back to 2009. I expect some craziness...I don't see strong S/R levels when Goldman is in play this time of the year. Nothing makes me think it will go down for the time being. If goes down my target is 1.0780 and then 1.0720.
