{quote} Appreciate the replies Bizzle and Armacon, i took the trade on the 15 minute time frame on the first bearish candle at 82965 and exited at 82817 I initially took the trade on an instinct triple top on the hour chart. Wish i had stayed in now, will try and post charts next time more on the TMS method. Thank you again, Shane.

It was not 'wrong' to short it, it was just not a 'swing' trade and in my humble point of view TMS is more a swing trading method.
If you have situations like that you can sell from the upper bound to the lower and vice versa But even than I prefer to trade with the higher timeframe bias .. for me higher timeframe was biased to the bull side, so woud only be buying from the lower bound .. With this way of thinking you just have less chance of being wrong

After such a big candle you can often enter at a better price

I have seen a lots of good trades; however I would like to share some bad ones and would like feedback from members. The trade went into positive direction for 24pips and then reverse. I have move the SL from 50 pips to 20pips and it stopped me. The pair E/U H1.

Asian session high and low is not broken. Market is still in consolidation. The entry candle has wicks on both ends.

Instead of moving your SL after x pips you can move your SL to the new lower high. [ See Masterpiece picture ] I don't like to use fixed 'stop loss' or fixed 'move to BE' .. I prefer to use structure

Thank you Armacom. That is correct place for SL to move at LH. If you check the E/U, it is back in my direction after stopping me out.

I only hope 20 pip (SL 30 pip)on NY & Asian session & 50 pip on LO(SL 50 pip)
I enter trade from the beginning of the candle which after TDI red green cross &after setup candle closed Below or high of 5EMA.
As phx62 doing if my trade 20 pip trade I change SL as BE after 10 pip go on my side.If 50 pip trade after go 21 pip on my side.

So according to My trade plan,if I enter 20 pip trade on this setup hit my TP.If i enter 50 pip trade on this setup I exit on BE.

Thanks
Helanka.

Best pic I've seen on here since Big Es original screenshots.
Just a hint: could do with about 25 moving averages, guppys, hulls, fibos, mtf indis, pivots and various other rubbish to completely obliterate the underlying PA. This is trading made simple after all.

Thanks Emmanuel for the job in this forum.
I will try to answer with my English:
From my point of view, the price is in range. I would expect to break that range. TDI is above fifty and with bullish trend by what i would look for entries in that direction.

Thanks for the comments Helanka. I should be more careful in NY/Asian session. Unfortunately I was not monitoring, otherwise I would have close at BE. I am also reading phx62 PDF's and trying to follow his path. I will post more charts to discuss.

Yes that is the correct place to put the sl after its made the lower high, you moved your stop loss before it had made the lower high.

Hi Lastingwell, thanks for the reply. By the way I am trying to follow phx62 methods. As Helanka replied earlier, if target is 20pip, move the SL to BE after 10pips in positive direction and for 50pips target, move it to BE after 21 or more pips. In my opinion if our entries are good and market has momentum, then we usually reach our target without hitting SL. Please advise.

Thanks, hoperich

If you want to try to trade how phx62 does then you need to be quicker with the entries. In the case of your EU trade, the time to enter would have been at the beginning of the candle where you took it, the tdi had crossed at the beginning of it there had been a pullback candle, and then a bearish engulfing, that would have given you more room, then move to BE at about 22 pips, if it didn't move far enough to move to BE he will come out if pa shows him the entry wasn't the best, in the one you showed there was an inside bar at the bottom, then the synergy bar turned blue he would definitely have been out well before that.

If you can't monitor the trade then put on the script for moving to BE that phx62 uses.

Thanks again for the feedback. It is true that trading is a lonely business; however when you are in thread like TMS, it doesn't seems like. There are so many caring people such as you. I have downloaded the EA (CaveManager) and I am planning to use that in near future due to nature of my full time job.

I understand you have traded a pin bar aggresively before the pin bar has been confirmed but not sure what it has to do with TMS? PA with tdi confirmation is surely what the thread is all about. PHX62 is probably one of the most accurate and pure tms traders on this thread even if he trades on H1, but even he waits till the tdi is at least pointing in the direction he thinks its going.
