Got the New Bot!

Hi, Magix:

I am doing backtest for the new BOT.
Whenever the level goes to high and closed with a negative profit in total. Is that correct?
All default setting except lot size.

That's not something I have seen on any of the tests I have run.

Not saying that this isn't possible, but the profitability code hasn't changed from any of the basic SWB versions, and I haven't actually seen that happen.



For the most part, still looks like a decent equity curve, will be interesting to see it running live to see if the performance on triggering is anything close to how the backtests look. Typically, they are nothing alike.

Q1: Where can I read about the description of this Grid strategy? I want to make sure that I can tolerate the risk associated.

Q2: Do you send the donors the source code of the EA (i.e., *.mq4) or the compiled version (i.e., *.ex4).

Q3: You promised to setup Exloperer account in order to observe the performance. Is it out yet?

I will be setting up a new thread under the "Trading System" category at FF, to discuss this as both an automated and manual strategy. The logic of how the latest trader works is very close to what I use for manual trading, so definitely should be able to work for those who want to try this as a manual or just apply it to trend as they see fit or just simply understand the logic behind.

No, I do not send the donors the source code of the EA.

I haven't set up any new accounts or explorers yet, for the most part, there really isn't anything until after the first week(s) of January that I will trade manually. These most recent fair to heavy swings on the USD and JPY crosses are typical to the season and don't often play well with any of the grids I have tested. Therefore, I sit it out.

I will see if I can get a few loaded for this up and coming week, though will most likely still sit my money out of market until the opening of the following.

As soon as I have something set-up, I'll let everybody know and will have explorers and myfxbook links available.

They moved us to Member's Lounge..

What makes this move to the Members Lounge completely stupid, is that a lot of the Junior members who have signed up to be not only a part of the Donation Efforts but as an active member of the FF Community, Cannot Post in this thread.

They can visit, but because they are restricted, can't post.
