As some of you are aware, I have taken to the Seasonal Spirit and have a few others that have come along for the ride.

To save confusion in the OBOS thread, I have created this house to discuss the trades and logic of the Chrismas Bot, ONLY!

Rules of the Roost!
1. I have provided and will continue to support other free versions of this EA, in the OBOS thread, participation here is optional.
2. Christmas Bot, will only be sent to those who:
Donate a minimum of $5 USD or equivalent to the charity of their choice.
Post a copy of their receipt, Scanned or Screen Shot here in the thread.
Send me their EMAIL address in a private message.
3. I don't want other EA's discussed here, only Christmas Bot.
4. This version will not be made public, which means you have exclusivity to this, ergo:
Please do not share this with other threads or forums, this is a reward for those who are willing to send a small contribution to a charity.
5. For those that already donate on a regular basis, I will accept a screen shot of your contributions as a donation and will reward you for your efforts.
6. This is a GRID BOT, that has the option to martingale trades. If this isn't a strategy that you are comfortable with, feel free to make a donation and not work with this EA.
7. The idea is to close out the year in profit and help others. Let's see if we can keep this spirit.

December 1, 2013 - Update

I have just sent out the new release(s) to all of the Email Addresses I have for the Christmas Trade EA Members. Please read the Email as well as the instructions included before asking any questions. If you are still unsure, ask questions in this thread and I will guide you along in getting set up.

The switch from X1 to X2, if there are open orders, continue or close them before switching?

Typically, come Wednesday, I haven't had to make this decision...they have just had closed trades.

Assuming that at some point this will not be the case, I would say that you will have to make a discretionary call. Will these trades cost average out? Are they with the daily trend as is defined in the PDF?
