Hi All, Happy 2014!
Had a nice long christmas break, now time to get back to trading.
I took two trades on ej with m15 entries, one in asia ,and one in NY.
The first was a bit premature, but I can't be up in LO, most of my asia entries are early, and like PHX62 pointed out HTF were all in downtrend,
but H4 tdi was way OS below the 32 line and I expected a bounce to the upside first.
+50, +30 pips

I would exit the trade on 3rd red pullback candle in your first trade with BE or small loss and then re-enter on 18th candle when it broke the resistance. What makes you stay in trade for so long? Please advise.

Like I said I couldn't wait for LO, it happens 3am my time, and you are right LO gave much better entry,
H1 was already stalling and I mentioned H4 tdi was below 32 with red curving back up, price just tested the low
one more time before heading up, that's all

ecad was the best of them so far...
btw, Emmanual thx for the modified APB you posted, I could make a nice template with being able to change the candle colour.

Recently I had some other issues I had to deal with but in the past two weeks I could analyze a lot of charts. I have found that some important candlestick patterns (pinbar, 2 bar reversal, bullish/bearish engulfing bars) at swing low/high and at significant support/resistant levels can bring more success compared to the APB/HA candles. I will keep TDI as well, however it seems to mee that the TDI cross many times occurs one or two candles later the the start of the actul move. So I will use Japanese Candles instead of APB/HA candles. I will let you know about my trades.

I know most of you post profitable trades and explain why and so on, but could you explain this to me, what I did wrong here?
I bought where the line was when the last single blue candle closed and TDI also crossed and started going up, but the trade went down instantly then.
Dont understand what happened there

Two more nice 50 pip trades on EJ H1. Took the LO trade following a pullback candle reversal formation. Entry was on a break above the (inside bar) setup candle with TDI confirmation. I monitored the trade for about 15 minutes until price moved 21 pips in my favor and then went back to bed. The EA closed the trade at TP.
The last trade was also taken while at work following another pullback candle reversal formation. This trade was entered at the open of the 2nd red (entry) candle, again with TDI confirmation.

i only see one candle bulish,did wait for that,or u jump the gun?
I had high hopes for TMS when i was studying it..I looked back on charts, But its a different story when you trade live..Eelfranz said when the line goes flat its a sign to get out, Well..most of the time you get into a trade on H4 with all the right signs..but it will normally only be a one candle in your favour, by the time you wait for the second you will be in Minus position..its really dissapointing..because when you look back on chart history it looks like alot of profit but it aint like that.

I'm not sure how long you have been 'studying' this method but if it's since you've subscribed to this thread then it's not long enough at all. There are some truly exceptional traders in this thread and it's a privilege for myself to learn from them. I think if you really try to understand this method properly and read the many pdfs available here, it will give you a great edge. Don't forget, it's not just as simple as trading any TDI cross, there's a lot of depending factors you need to think about.

Would just like to thank everyone in this thread again for posting all their charts and comments, it's such a great learning experience.

Excellent trades Phx62 and it's always nice to see you in live action, although your PDF's are guidelines for us. I have a question. How do you react while in trade when the price reach "Yesterday high/low". What about if there is a good signal and you are close to these areas? Sorry if this has been answered in the past.

when you enter at that blue APB/HA candle, did you see that wide range bar 2 candles before that?

that WRB is a first sign of consolidation to follow and trading when PA is in consolidation has some risk. That WRB has strong down momentum.

Now if you follow GJ a new opportunity may be there this week.
