Anyone care to over lay what happened next ?

The bottom right hand target proved a little excessive following the jack-knife swing up but it sure was a decent prediction I think.

I just saw a post from Elliott Wave Forex that shows us in a wave 2 now with the previous high being the top of wave 1. They see price going to way over 1.6 for the wave 3 impulse and this is their main count. I hope not !!

I think they are out to lunch with that count. Surely the E/U will see the bottom of the monthly triangle at a minimum (if not lower) before we see 1.60 again.
In the interim, I'm sticking to my 1.44/1.45 upside target for Q1 2014. Then down... way down.

I dont like to discount anything but I dont favour theirs at all.... especially since they hold that GU is about to complete the Triangle 4th. Certainly Eur/Gbp would have an interesting move if they are right on both primary counts.

I like Yours and have it as an alternative ( You can see it on the link included below) but I would switch the A and a in 2008 personally.

I too saw the count of EWForex. Since a few weeks/months they have abruptly changed their view on EU (without need). So one asks: "what happened?"

Up to that date they saw parity or so as goal, and all of a sudden they see EU not only above 1.6, but most likely in the 1.8 or above area. They have us now in a multiple 1-2's action, with 2 very huge 1's.

For me, this count has lost the traits to reality (aka fundamentals). Re-considering now the usefulness of this subscription......

Look how ugly they have to count to make this (pipe)-dream come true.


Their alternatives (in the monthly section) looks way better

I was just reading the Euro thread which You write on a lot and looking at Your chart for this pair... nice work !

EWF once had Lara doing the E/U and G/U pairs daily but she let it go to some guy who's name I dont recall and then after a quiet period have new guys. In that time their counts have changed a lot.

I subscribed in 2010 time but after a lengthy chat with Lara by email regarding what was happening with EU in the mess at the top of early 2011 I ceased subscribing but I still get the free weekly counts.

I nearly commented on the EU one today but chose to keep quiet.... each to their own sometimes

I agree that the Monthly alts. did give me some hope

What happens next with Eur/Gbp will give better understanding of what divergence there may be between E/U and G/U.

If its a wave 5 up next then that validates EWF's view for sure.

Luis,

I do not know if You realise how much the Americans spend on BMW's, Audi's and Mercedes but if You think that is A then many would not be able to afford anything from the Eurozone in the event of a wave C of that magnitude.

The 5 waves of A as that supposes is 8000 pips, that would assume (with a 1.200 B and A=C ) that C would terminate no sooner that 2 Euro's to the Dollar, and possibly go to 2.500 at 1.61%.

It would also invalidate practically all the US Dollar Long Term Counts I have ever seen.

Just a consideration for truly who knows.... but they are my thoughts.

Problem with that long term count is, that it does not look far enough to the right side and concludes, that the very top is the end of a wave A

But there was Euro history before the earliest date on that chart. Before the Euro came, we had something called ECU, and now there are charts that have recalculated data which goes back in the early 80's or late 70's years.

My Dukascopy chart shows the deepest point arount 0,56 in the year 1985, and since then to the top in 2008 EUR has traced out most likely a zigzag so far.

So for me at the very top should be a letter C, and not end of wave A

i do not have long term chart but 1 horrible data chart from internet excel files on yearly basis from 1975. the data did not show high low close open.
around mid 1995 is at 1.3770. i do not know if its true coz other graphic png chart show 1.35xx.
