It's funny how a lot of you would never believe that the market is rigged. Which is absolutely pathetic IMO. It clearly is rigged, and that new years rally to 1.39 was just that, total rigging. The euro is going to get destroyed this year. I just hope it doesn't go down too fast and gives me a chance to put on as many short entries as possible as high as I can get them.

Nothing to do with emotions. Everything to do with logic. The average person doesn't move markets. The average person has no say in what markets are going to do. The big boys that run this planet are the one's doing things. It'll always be like that.

Of course this means I'm a "conspiracy theorist" .. so be it.

Technical Analysis still works IMO, even while they're rigging. So it's not like money can't be made no matter which way the market moves.

Yes, that is right, and rigged is most probably the wrong word.

In a free market, everyone wants to make money. Some by following, some by leading, and others by just pushing the price to a certain direction at least for a short time. It is all within this great game called speculation.

When whatever currency that you are trading changes value there is a reason for it. When you are looking at your EUR/USD chart do you know what the chart on EUR/JPY is showing ? If you do not then you are perhaps missing some important information on where EUR/USD will go. Is the markets trading with Risk On or Risk Off ? That will determine where the money is going. I agree with your comments on following the CASH.

I doubt it, lets say that Tapering that happened a few days ago. I bet you people put the SL at both ends either going LONG or SHORT, they would have been taken out easily by the bump, dump then reverse bump then dump action. Had I not put the SL far away, I would have also fell for the trap.

As for the post Christmas to 1.3890 zone, that was pure evil, and I guess you can say it was rigged ,but really, the banks and also many many various corporations had to hedge, convert it back to Euro, and so forth. It was expected for that to have happened. But the rejection down was Classic; it was a crazy pump and dump, too bad I was sleeping and didn't get a chance to get in well into the 1.37 zone....

The news ain't bad, it confirms that US is not weak.

Not sure what the reaction is gonna be. POST tapering talk can cause weird logic for currency movements as the reason to buy and sell USD has changed a bit depending who you are.
Technical wise, it is worth waiting for absolute bearish confirmation to avoid premature closure of a short EURUSD.

Fundamental wise, the NEW news of data releases needs to be re-evaluated to see if the conventional wisdom still hold of the POST Tapering confirmation.....

Anyhow, I am still bearish, targeting ~1.34

Flea was out his euro short already. waiting for the bounce to load back. I flipped my long to short just before the year closed (took a loss for the long). Still hold cable shorts.
