{quote} Alright then - fair enough - Can you do yourself a favour? Look around, this thread is JUST 39 pages (only). Can you just read it - ALL(almost) your questions have ALREADY been answered. Am even surprised that xlitang responded to you without asking for your MyFxBook account link. This is a good question though: {quote} Regards, Ty

You need $250 for a nano account and 0.01 lot size ... Just do the math if your account is a micro.

Thanks for the education. This is EXACTLY why you need to read through the thread. Your ic markets micro account is badly Underfunded - EXCEPT if you have up to $25,000 therein?

Just do what xlitang said:

For $200USD, you need to open a nano account like profiforex micro account with 1:500 leverage. You can trade EU, GU, AU, UJ with starting lot 0.01. No need to change lot factor.

Anyway you can't trade your account with $200 ... even with the smallest lot size allowed by your current broker.

Trading foreign exchange on margin carries high potential rewards but also high potential risks that may not be suitable for all investors. Before deciding to trade foreign exchange, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience and risk appetite. Past performance is not indicative of future results, which can vary due to market volatility. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. I doubt that this will stop greedy newbies to do whatever they want regardless the risk ... After all, they play with their own money ... not ours. They have been warned ...

Attention xlitang:

Trades STILL not being triggered at the same frequency as before. EAs are lethargic...I think?

Hi guys !

Back from holydays and relaunching EAs.

Seen that some accounts blew off why I was out. Not surprised though. Happy to see that we are working on protection features. One that has not been mentioned is money management. My view is to withdraw money as soon as posible until initial investment is recovered and then play with free money. I intend to go live with nano account in the coming months and I will proceed like that:

  1. 250€ nano account trading EU,GU,AU,EA, and NU.
  2. Withdraw any profit at the end of each month until total cash withdraw amounts to 250€.
  3. Play with free money until I double the account.
  4. At that time, split the account in 2, one trading EU,AU and NU and one trading EA and GU.
  5. For each new 250€ earned, settle a new account until I get a total of 5 accounts trading only one pair.
  6. At each stage, I may withdraw money to settle a reserve that would be used to refund any blow account if need be. Still to decide on that though.

We all agree that the EA is not a holy grail. Protection features and money management may be the solution. Time will tell.

Happy to be back and wish you a happy new year to all !!

Ignore lot factor. EA does not use it and use a different lot sequence. If you demo it you would know.
