Hi xlitang,

For live version with both Promised and FishNet features. Does this mean the order level remain same for both if activated accordingly?
Promised: unlimited
FishNet : 14 level

Is it possible to set 14 level for Promised as well?

NB: I decided to start with the Core4 Pairs as recommended by xlitang just to "get a feel" of trading the EA live. Core4 Pairs = EU, AU, GU, & UJ.

Like sammer would say, this is the "negative cycle" in effect! It's days like this that am happy I opted to trade the core4!

some pairs going up 200 pips or more. Promised seems that cant handle it.

Xlitang you say at first post that after 8 level u place take profit at just 5 pips, but demoing i couldnt see that and also for garfield's account (shown above) the same

Wow! Did you use fishnet or promised? Also, did you trade the WHOLE core9 pairs (I couldn't help noticing GBPAUD in there somewhere)? Final question...since you funded your account with $750, did you use a starting lotsize of 0.03?

Please the above questions will help me analyze better.

Today has been rough so far - I had a DD of 30%+. On top of this the FACT that there isn't a red news item today! So far some measure of stability has returned to the market but the negative cycle is still somewhat in place for now.

Like I said above thank God I opted for the core4 - using BOTH the fishnet & promised EAs.

Ty is not my account it's Garfield's. By the way is a 75000$ account and all the info is public which helps a lot to analyze everything

My EURUSD demo blew, but my AUDCAD survived with no issues.

Trades closed for the weekend.

I can see a whole LOT of blown accounts between yesterday and today from some members here. I can't say why that happened BUT I can share why my live account survived:

#1. I traded ONLY the following pairs: EU, AU, GU, and UJ
#2. I DOUBLE traded them using BOTH the FishNet & Promised EA (thereby doubling both my potential risk and reward I guess)
#3. I ensured that my live account IS properly funded.

And now that it's the weekend, I have CLOSED ALL open trades and shut down for the weekend. I am lucky in that the "negative cycle" came to a TIDY end at the end of trading today - ALL I left on the table was $3 or so.

I started trading on the 20th so today is about 5Days of trading live and I have made a 8.46% ROI on my account. I can live with that with NO complaints!

Like I mentioned somewhere above, I hit a DD of 30.95% and am NOT happy or comfy with that at all - next week I MAY reduce my lotsize to 0.01 (instead of the 0.02 I used this week) just to further FORESTALL a repeat of such high DDs. We'll see.

Firstly, from what I can see sir - and I may be wrong - Garfield's account would tend MORE towards a nano (micro) account than a standard account so I will stay with my initial guess that he started it with 75,000 CENTS ( = $750) and not $75,000. Also, I would think that he WON'T sit around and watch 75 LARGE drain away so easily. Hey that's just my 2 cents.

Secondly, I think he MAY have either experimented with pairs other than those recommended by xlitang, OR he may have mistakenly used GBPAUD. This is NOT to say that if this pair wasn't among his choices things would have fared better. But then again...what's wrong with trading ONLY four pairs?
